He beat the then WSBK Champion at Laguna Seca.
Maybe it was tires or package or maybe it just wasn't Corser's day but......
He showed pace to beat a WSBK bike on his AMA bike.
So, I think that our tup riders could make a splash in WSBK. Just with the right bike.
They are similar, I mean look at Hodgeson. The guy is good, and he might have won the Ducati Cup that year but he is still a champ.
He came here, even won a race and did good on a poopier bike than the rest.
I think the caliber of the riders (the good ones) are about the same. Except for those SBK Gods like Bayliss=, mladin and other exceptionally talented individuals.
