Yeah, I think De Puniet has got that maturity. He might not have that natural talent that Pedrosa and Stoner have, but he's got a few advantages like his build, his experience, ect.

Being honest if he wasn't on a Kawa I wouldn't care the slightest about him. His build is an advantage he is strong and a normal sized guy, not like most of the grid who are midgets.
He is good on wet races, but I don't rate him highly, I think Nakano will kick his arse.

But Nakano's great. Honestly I was surprised he didn't get on the podium last year. The Kawa's getting better, but it's still holding him back.

I seriously hope they spur each other on to podiums,am expecting bigger things from Kawasaki seems its my favourite brand too,Teo. We need Nakano to have his 110% head on at every race

I'm worried though. Nakano put in good times at last years tests. I wish De Puniet all the best, but I don't think he'll be able to keep up with Nakano, should be better than Hoffman though.
IMO Jaque should have been first in line for the seat when Hoffmann got axed. He's not just a 250 winner, hes a damn champion. And he could handle development like Hoffman did, a job that can't really be entrusted to a rookie. That and Kawa's best finish to his name should have been more than enough.
Hope to see Nakano take multiple poduims this year, maybe even a race win if it rains at Motegi. I'll be there wearin the green to cheer him on!

I say Stoner, then will be De Puniet, then Pedrosa. I don't think Pedrosa has the physical fitness for the full race. And I need it to be Stoner then De Puniet for my Fantasy MotoGP team.
I'm quite surprised at Stoner's pace in Qatar, but I still think Pedrosa will be the nº1 rookie at the end of the year.
Qatar was a tricky race for Dani, first the Launch control system failed and he almost fell off the bike in the start getting overtaken by many bikes. Then Hopper gave him (& Toni) an oil shower when his Shitzuki died, and finally he was stuck behind Melandri for half of the race.
Despite all these problems he ended right behind Casey. So I expect him to be on the podium in Turkey if he gets a normal start
