Well there you go hating as usual. Ok point me out to the article where Pedrosa says only he can have the upgrades and that there should be no equal treatment if there is one. He crashed into hayden once but aside from that what else do you got? Has Hayden taken out anyone on GP period?
Danny weights - 112 pounds
Elias - 125 pounds
Stoner 127 pounds
Your telling me the 13 pound diff is what gives him the hole shot on this monster bikes? ........ buddy... Why don't you give credit to him for actually being real talented at launch? I think i remember kevin schwantz or was it Randy Mamola stating that Dani was actually Handicapped by his size cause he doesn't have the weight to keep the back tire on the ground as much while hard breaking. Anyways Hate on people. lol

Whether or not Dani has enough weight to keep the back tyre on the ground as much while hard breaking is irrelevant as the discussion is whether his lack of weight gives him the ability to get the holeshot off the line. When it comes to acceleration, all other things being equal, the 13 pound lighter person will win. That is physics 101.
If the blazing starts are completely about Pedro's weight, how come Elias didn't get flying starts in 2009 on the Honda.
Perhaps one has a ripper launch control & one doesn't.
Yes there is more than just weight to his starts but it plays a major part.
I would judge by this statement that you must have started watching MotoGp about 2 hours ago. WTF???
Take a look at photos of Hayden or Spies from 2005 and then look at photos of them this year. Both of them
have been starving themselves like a pair of coked-up New York fashion models in order to be light enough
to be competitive against the Spanish midgets on teensy 800cc bikes. This is a well established situation
in the MotoGp world - and much written about by numerous journalists and discussed endlessly by the riders themselves.
His weight is I am sure not irrelevant, but other factors do come into it; casey stoner was the quickest starter on the 2007 ducati but not so on the 2010 ducati. Come to think of it, this is another reason the honda may be well suited to stoner.
Calm down Esco, I've disliked Pedro because it fun to do. You should try it, you'll like it.
If Pedro had simply taken out Nicky in a crash, then I'd hav forgiven him by now. There is a long list of peeps who have used Nicky as breaks, and I don't spend any energy disliking them. But it was Pedros foul attitude about it which continue for two more years later. He and his puppeteer were a virtual sound bite machine aimed at shitting on Hayden. Not sure how you missed that.
Are you familar with the laws of physics? Yes a few pounds does make a difference in launch. Do you think its a coincidence that Pedro most always has the fastest trap speeds? No only does it help being 98 pounds, but being a large sized barbie doll helps in the aero department. Not his fault, but advantage, yes. And you are correct, it can also be a disadvantage in some aspects.
You know esco, I don't hate Pedro as much as you think. Afterall, I once wore a hat that said, Dani, I love you, and took a picture with him.
lololol @ pic
Even though I'm a Rossi fan?!
Anna, there are two categories of Rossi Fan around here: "Rossi Fans" and "Rossiboppers."
Being a fan is cool. Being a blind, hero-worshiping ..... (Bopper) is not.
I'd hate to see you emerge as a Bopper; there are too damn many of them already!

Thanks for the welcome
Puig is a dirty word in our house, mainly due to the way Hayden was treated.
I'll have a scout through some older threads. I've only scratched the surface so far as there's so many!

When it comes to acceleration, all other things being equal,
You have no reason to assume that all other things are equal.
Read again, it's a statement of fact, not an assumption. If all other things were equal my point is correct. I don't think all other things are equal and I haven't said that. That wasn't the point of my post.
Well why mention it then? It is totally irrelevant
You have trouble with English don't you? Haven't read one worthwhile post from you yet and you've been on here a lot longer than me.
