What does your choice of motorcycle say about you?

Riding around town on a 600cc super sport with the rear fender cropped off and the tag wired up under the seat and the engine tacked out at 8 grand tells me you're a phucken .......... Right up there with the chubby Harley riders dressed like pirates and their strait pipes.

Not that anybody on here does that.

That sounds about as clever as painting a bike with a Spiderman theme....

My motorcycle says "I'm a n00b"

Still loads of fun even with only 250cc single cylinder 4 stroke.

250

That's actually a beautiful little bike and absolutely nothing wrong with noobiousness. Don't bob the tail especially on that one as the factory has done a nice job on styling. Ride sensibly most of the time flip that thing in the corners. It's looks like a gas.

i'd take a 250 over a superbike any day of the week

bmw f800r, sachs madass 125 and yamaha xs 400 se in my little garage.

basically says that i won't pay premium to go above 98hp (thats the magic bar in germany above which you have to pay a shitload to insure) and that i enjoy something a little unique.
and that i'm way too cool for inline 4s.

Two Triumphs

Ladies and Gents, I present to you my two Trumpets. I would like to think my choice in motorcycles says I am an eclectic character. Or maybe even stylish, like an aging hipster. I have been accused of being a bit of an Anglophile before (by a Brit, no less). But I am sure some wiseass can come up with a demeaning explanantion for my choice in motorcycles.

Honestly, I just really like Triumphs. My Speed Triple has been the most fun I have had on two wheels with my limited sport riding skills (I hope to start doing track days next year!). But I like other motorcycles, as well. I guess I tend to prefer the European bikes, as I have owned an Aprilia in the past and have lusted over several Ducatis and Moto Guzzis. I have also owned a few Harleys, and my current pair of Triumphs are not my first, as I once owned (and deeply regret trading in) a Triumph Daytona 1200.

My first sportbike was a Honda CBR600 (bought new in 1998). I had been riding Harleys for a few years and wanted to know what the sportbike thing was all about (and I had been watching racing on TV so that itch was there). I believe that choice said "I am a Harley guy and don't know anything about fast motorcycles so I am going to make a safe choice; Honda".

Anyways, I do love my Trumpets!
