Hmmm. Either Suzuki are hiding the option of a third bike to prevent people from knowing Spies is coming, or Spies is definitely landing elsewhere. I think the latter is more probable but who knows.
Looks like Krusty beat me to it, but now there is an official thread.
I doubt Spies ends up at Suzuki. They have clearly said no third machine earlier in the year. That will be a big loss for Suzuki but the current guys only get a year contract so maybe the year after. Spies also wants quite a bit more moola (2 mill?) than Suzuki pays out. I would love to see a satellite Suzuki team even if they only had one bike.

I am with you on this one. Shame that they can't get him a team together with some type of sponsor. .... Rockstar energy would work well. Ha then you have Monster, Red bull, and Rockstar. These companines are really the new tobacco.

Well that would be exciting news eh? HE could have NIKE and HAYNES man I believe Jordan could do it. PLUS imagine the press that would get. I would think we would have it on network TV more so than ever. Very good there Curve.

less the Haynes part...
i don't want an American race team to have Tighty Whities as a paint scheem
current rider line-up is good and i am happy with it, but i really wanted to see more GSV-R's on the grid for next year. a Spies, Schwantz, Jordan team would make a lot of sponsors reach for the cheque-book but, sadly it is not to be...

Great idea. I have thought about this for some years. And now that he bagged a AMA championship in Superstock, he should join the big time. ...., we all know he could afford it. (Oh, wait, but Suzuki don't think he can afford it). Oh well, I think Spies is out. Not sure where, but I would bet its not on a factory Suzuki MotoGP machine. I think Demi burned that bridge.

Agreed.
They probarbly realised that the Moto gp bike had too much catching up to do.I'm glad Loris stayed,he can definitely help develope electronics having so much knowledge about Ducati's system. And also help in areas where they are clearly behind the competition. When that is done hopefully 2009,he will probarbly retire and they can have an easier time convincing sponsors and riders. And eventually have three or more bikes 2010.
I'm not saying Loris is the one who can soley turn things around with is knowledge or experience.
But he can ,and i think he has convinced the factory to put some more effort in.
