Well done Stoner....untouchable!


Did anyone hear the Eurosport bunch talk about the fact that in 2009 there will be NO qualifying tyres?

If it is true the a few 1 lap 1 trick riders are going to end fighting for last week in and week out...Good thing Stoner can run well and qualify well at pretty much every track...

With his fron tire I might add. He had a SERIOUS front end slide on one of his fast laps.

I was just going to type that he won't be in front of pedrosa into turn 1 but that one is quite tricky and Hayden has the inside so it is possible but most probably pedrosa will jump away but he might get to pedrosa in turn 2. A much better place to pass and with a clever start using the ideal line through turn 1 while pedrosa try to block and go tight. There is lots of metres to gain before turn 2 with a good exit from turn 1.

Yea,it's going to be quite tight into turn 2 on the first laps tomorrow,but the way Pedrosa has got off the line lately it might even go to the final turn on the first lap before someone catches up.I reeeealy hope he doesn't run away and that Stoner can win this though.
Nicky seems to enjoy himself on the bike and i hope he goes well too.

Looked like Stoner was using a cut tire for qualifying, I wonder if that is how people are going to attack it next year?

Stoner starts ahead and it would be likely if Pedrosa take the inside line to cut in front, but at Valencia you can loose a lot of time on the inside line becuase the the turn is short.. I'm unshure about how much they might loose on the first lap thow, with less entry speed. At full speed they often use the pit lane on the outside to gain hight.

yeah, the rain does tend to help the slower riders keep up
