Okay been thinking about doing valencia again,


The weekend covers 8th 9th and 10th of november.


It's my birthday on the 9th!


Anyone fancy coming to party with me?
 
me too man, we'll keep each other updated!


money plays a big role too, though i might be able to organize a decent place for us to stay (got friends in valencia).


have to see how i can get there best

Talk about fishing for birthday gifts :p
 
could be at the airport on thursday around 11am ,leave sunday 9pm


we could both stay at friends of mine who live in the city, maybe we could get our hands on some bikes (or scooters :p) so that we don't have to take trains and busses :)

TBH Buddy the public transport is so good and cheap it would cost a lot more hiring the bikes.


If I do it I will stay on for the testing session on the tuesday before flying home tuesday night.


Yeah I know I'm a gp whore and just can't get enough ;)

oh, and with all due respect but .... your public transport uncle red, we're there for a motorcycle race arent we? ;)
 
considering Valencia this year as well. any suggestions on which tribuna is best? was thinking about roja or blanca, but if anyone of you already been there I'd appreciate some advice.

I've been twice.


First time in the yellow's in the middle section 20 something.


Fantastic view turns one and two perfik


3, 4, and 5 great going away from you.


Then you get the odd sighting at various other places.


 


Second time was in the purple I think above the pit lane exit.


Great views of the track overall but a tad spoiled by looking down on the riders as they came down the straight.


 


Of the two definately the Yellow IMO.

If you think I am going to throw my leg over a bike for the first time in over 20 odd years.


In a country that drive on the wrong side of the road.


And not having a clue where the fcuk I am or going.

yellow looks great.. any advice on accommodation? trackside camping or city hotels recommended? better to rent a car or a scooter? thanks so far!
 
Both times I stayed at the "Expo Valencia"


It's okay for what you need but the bar is expensive, me and my sons did £100 in just one session.


It was quite easy once shown how to get there on public transport. We used the metro (dirt cheap) and the Renefe.


Use the metro to get to Saint Isdre I think it is called, I'll check on my map later and correct if wrong.


There you get off the platform walk round the corner and get on the Renefe, Literally a minute walk.


This drops you at the track 4 stops later.


From the Expo to the track took about 40 mins ;)
