Turn Off the Commentators and Focus on the Racing

45 years I've been watching racing but i can only watch MotoGP with the sound turned down because of the ridiculous commentators who seem to think they are more important than the racing. I can't hear the bikes but I can hear a lunatic talking as fast as humanly possible about things that I can actually see for myself. Pointing out the obvious at a pitch and speed that implies they are on amphetamines does nothing for the sport. There are graphics on the side of the screen for us all to see but all that needs telling at full throttle by the two idiots who try to outdo each other for the whole race.
If the new owners want to do something to improve the sport then give us the option of turning the commentators off please.

I partly agree but sometimes the commentators point things out and im wondering how the heck are they able to see it so quickly, i often need to rewind multiple times to grasp up at all the things happening in one corner, especially in the first lap when the field is still together

Not sure which commentators you’re referring to, but the TNT lot are the exact opposite. They always seem to react to things a lap or two later than it actually happened!
Michael Laverty has been around so long, but he still calls it Motor2 and Motor3 😂

If you have the MotoGP.com subscription, you can click the camera icon, and drag the ambient option into the video feed. No more commentary! You can also watch helicopter and several onboards, and you can do picture in picture with multiple feeds.

Don't forget access to the archives to help get through the winter.

Wow! Had no clue about any of that. Thanks :)

Jesus! 30 euros a month!
Most people pay more than that for cable tv etc. I pay $150 a year but I grandfathered in for having it so long. Even at 30 euro/month, for me it's worth it for everything you get.

I can’t stand Nick Harris period, and while Simon Crafar is less inclined to spouting utter nonsense I unfortunately and unreasonably cannot stand the sound of his voice.

I didn't realize this was a thing. I went back to check my credit card statement and I paid $130 so I guess I'm a grandfather as well.
Same with me. I have subscribed since 2007, and am atomically renewed for the same price each year. An utter bargain imo compared to many other forms of entertainment, including such things as a single dinner for two particularly if you like your wine.

LOL picking on the Kiwi accent- shame on you :)

In Australia for years we had the Brit accent of Barry Sheen. At first he was woefully bad but once he got the hang of it he was amazing.

Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before. I was having lunch at an outdoor restaurant in Brisbane Australia and Barry Sheen turned up and had lunch at the next table. I was so tempted to ask him if he had caught up with Graeme Crosby LOL
