How do we gauge it? Do we account the bike they rode? Or do we just simply look at his skills/techniques on it.
Never ending debate of Rossi and Stoner and Lorenzo too. I don't know how to make a poll (and I'm freakin Drunk) so I'll just read all your opinions on it. This thread would also welcome the greats like Mike, Ago, Doohan, Kevin, Rainey, Gardner and all the likes. We all know we can't compare riders through different era's. But we can surely debate of how they dominated/won their era's. Is it pure talent? bike? or whatnot?
Who do you think is the best?
Mine would be Doohan (despite me being a massive Casey fan). He literally didn't want his bike changed for god knows how many years (wikipedea; really?) and still dominated for 5 freakin' straight years. I'm too young to know the likes of past greats. Though I'd say Casey (and surely Valentino) are becoming such greats. Casey is the only rival Valentino met that can/would be one day considered as one of the greats anyway. Biaggi and Gibbers (no not Lorenzo) can go .... themselves.
