These PI times are all on the slow side, it's just testing tires. Good to see Lorenzo back where he belongs though.

Yep, this will be one of the least telling tests as far as we are concerned, unless ego's take over towards the end.

Rabat and Kallio putting a shift in in moto2 testing...think Rabat has done 100 laps or more each day.

I read somewhere they had the Moto2 and GP bikes on track at the same time? Would have been some massive speed differentials if so.

Which is why some consider him to be the best. He had the ability to ride around problems that freak other riders out. Personally, im thinking Rossi is loving the tires compared to last years but is being diplomatic because Jorge is whining so much about them

Rossi? Diplomatic? Sensitive to Jorge's feelings? Somehow - I don't see that. Who knows, maybe after the last three years drubbing - he's learned the meaning of hubris. I'm sure he knows he won't beat MM but I bet he'd be over the moon to take second in the championship over Lorenzo.

I dont think there is any doubt that Rossi is far more humble than when they were teammates before.

From what I understand, they were on the track at the same time. The Moto2 bikes had warning lights on their tails in order to warn MotoGP riders that they were approaching a much slower bike.

They had Moto2 bikes on track at the same time at the last couple of tests too.  RCV-R and GP bikes.

Not much different than having MotoGP bikes along with CRTs/Open (non-M1s) on track together then...

Not sure whats the difference between a Honda Moto2 bike and a Honda RCV-R, but I bet its not much, literally.

They should put these warning lights on Nicky's bike along with a yellow caution sign: WARNING ridiculously slow bike ahead.

The difference is immense, One exists, and one doesnt. There is no such thing as a Honda Moto2 bike.

You make it so easy for the brainwashers.

Rabat was 3rd ish quickest overall in sector 1 for a large portion of one of the days

I wonder if Dr. Povol will conclude "proof" nobody is interested in MotoGP given the lack of mention and results regarding the test already in progress....

you mentioned it, are you a nobody? The Moto 2 test went a solid week without a peep,, this is the first day of grid filler testing and  someone {you} brought it up. My conclusion is even you like Moto GP better than Moto2, no matter what you say

MotoGP gets my heart racing where Moto2 doesn't.

There's no known explanation for this.

The explanation is simple.  like 99% of all bike   racing fans, you will gravitate towards the fastest baddest ... machine that series has to offer. If you go to a SMX event, your cant miss is the 450 races. If you go to a Superbike event, Superbikes, not the WSS or DSB, is what you will be focused on. If you watch Moto GP, your interest is iin the 250 hp fire breathing dragons, not the 125 hp wheezing 600's.. Anyone who states different, has a 99 % chance of being full of ...... Basically what im saying  is, Jumkie is full of .... and likes nothing better than to stir up controversy by stating .... he himself dont even beleive, but allows him to write his 1000 word diatribes.
