Stoner undergoes wrist surgery

I admit I wasn't a registered member in 2006, just an infrequent lurker, so I can't claim to know exactly what was discussed or not, but I did read all the usual sources of info on the net about Estoril 2006 and it's aftermath, but at no time did I ever read about Hayden re-injuring his shoulder, that didn't come out until after Valencia, so unless someone here had some very inside info how could you be discussing it?
He had a good reason to keep it quiet, rather than use it as a potential excuse if he didn't win the championship, namely he didn't want the opposition to know he was injured.

You can tell it's the off season, we are discussing 2006 again.

then why get involved ?

if i get time i will try and find the debate but going back 2 years is no easy task. i know it was debated between estoril and valencia because we commented on how his shoulder was ok at valencia. that coment was made because nicky bumped into rossi with his right side twice off the start line before the first corner.
polvol pulls one ....... easy thread from the past and claims that as proof, there were more than 1 thread going during that time you know !

I'd be interested in reading those threads, and I admit you know what was discussed far better than me, but saying you discussed that his shoulder looked ok at Valencia isn't proof, because that discussion clearly happened after the Valencia race.

one thing i noticed tho povol is . estoril was 15 oct 06 valencia was 29th oct 06.
you didn't join the forum until 26 feb 07 so unless you have gone back and read every single thread during that time wtf do you know what we talked about ?

nope dont think so but either way i still think more was made out of that injury than there was just like stoners wrist.
nicky may not have used it as an excuse for his piss poor performance at valencia like stoner has this year but he used it to create more anti perdrosa sentiments.

iirc nh brought the news of him being injured out after the valencia race. he didnt wanted any of the riders having an advantage on him, it being a mental or a physical advantage

I think no one mentions the injury in the estoril topic...

Sounds like a little self doubt setting in huh.I like the way you put the fishing symbol by your statements now.That way,if somebody calls ........,you can go either way.Nice strategy!.I will bite though,tell me about Nicky's piss poor Valencia race.You can say he got beat by a wild card,blah blah.and i can contend he was the fastest till the bestest binned it and he backed off blah blah........ its slow in here.If anyone is interested there is an audio clip on Superbike Planet of the new R1 big bang configuration WSBK.Sound pretty bad ...

I think no one mentions the injury in the estoril topic...
ok maybe he didnt use it as a pre emptive excuse after estoril for a poor performance for the up coming valencia, instead he used it after valencia as an excuse for his piss poor performance. so we agree on that then.
