Certain Stoner boopers here were defying the odds when Rossi got higher odds than pedrosa in front of the '08 season. Not to mention the Hayden crowd at it's top in'07/'08 defying any logic available when others looked at the circumstances.

But it's all part of the game. you have your favorite and I got mine. Mine beat yours and it's all good

You will see that ,not only is Casey ranked above Lorenzo by every agency, but that close to half have Stoner at the SAME odds as Rossi! Surely blasphemy!

In the years in which Rossi wan, the differences to second place were the smallest in 2009 with Lorenzo 45 points below, 2004 with Gibernau 47 points below, and 2003 with Gibernau 80 points below. The only year in which Stoner was second to Rossi (2008) there was a 93 point difference. There are a lot of indicators and factors to compile, but I think Rossi has had great competition throughout a lot of years no doubt, as curve says over a decade!

If we could only see the odds for bets back in those years mate!

Yeap, back in Biaggi’s era Rossi mentioned too, my guess is that back in Gibernau’s era some words meaning the same were said (I remember an specific ‘curse’ towards a ‘main rival’), and so on and on for over a decade!

Rossi fans should be pleased at the success of talpa's insidious, clever (and successful) stratagem on this thread in diverting stoner fans (including me) to in the main debating whether stoner is the second or third best rider in motogp rather than whether he is a chance of challenging rossi for the championship .

The three monkeys are very lucky they at least have you to provide the smarts in Stoners camp.

You can be complimented for the unintentional and accept it but really that is also a pretty interesting trick against your ego. Don't second guess who you are dealing with.

Does this mean Stoner is fourth and with Spies upping the game perhaps fifth? Oh come on, I am just mocking; we have nothing again till next test.

But I definitely do not think Pedrosa is better than Stoner, and I have no data what so ever on Spies. Lorenzo was 4th as a Rookie in 2008, and 2nd in 2009, not that bad of course. Then again we have 46 to top it!

I may be completely wrong here, but I think he's referring to Bunny, TP and Berry Stand by Talpa to meet 'Son' and Krusty, and you've gotta believe Pinky's waiting in the wings as usual.

I guess you’re right, it’s them 3. Just that I twisted it a bit in order for a mockup, a silly one on my part, sorry could not resist! Anyway and obviously, as soon as testing is done, we really have not much to discuss about… Bring on racing please!
