Adriana's not my type. But I probably shouldn't have touched him 'there' and then winked at him.

Now I get what he meant when he said he was disenchanted with motogp. Between Puig's garden shed and groping dirty old men, he must have felt like a choirboy on a fieldtrip in the Vatican.

I think Marquez has presented Casey with a new challenge. If he comes back, and  ooooh  i hope he does, that would be maybe the most epic   line up in the history of the sport. One old warrior slightly past his prime, one coming into his own, and three in their prime. If Dorna were smart, they would spend some money, and more importantly, quit ....... with regulations to make this happen.

Stoner back at Honda for Motegi!

(testing, not race)

Stoner will be back in P.I. Why accept to test otherwise, -- and four tests, not just one... looks like a perfect program to be up to speed for P.I.

You do know that Akiyoshi has a broken femur and cracked hip, right?

Don't think Stoner will ride this year. Next year CRT's are bye bye. Teams will be realigned, new teams formed

and new seats up for grabs. I am sure he will get a few attractive offers for some of these rides however only

he can sign the contract. Guess it all depends on how well or how bad the V8's treat him.

Kropotkin is right. He's filling in for an injured test rider.

Testing a bike does not equal a Phillip Island bike ride

but it could whet his desire to be racing again

It only takes a few curves at speed to bring back

the temptation to be racing once again

Why are all your posts width limited? Makes for an odd reading experience (unnatural brake between 'ride' and 'but', and between 'back' and 'the').

Edit: feels like reading something with asthma.

If you want them wide then so be it - mostly habit like sticking those "-" every few words and even the odd "..................." and using "but" every time I have a thought however (not but this time) you should welcome these traits cause it makes it hard for anyone to clone me and you will always know exactly who I am by the style of my prose. I would think you would buy yourself an inhaler for the asthma just for the honor of having me on the forum. For your health I am fixing the wide thing for this post at least.

Yes, but why replace a tester with a world champ rather than with another tester?

And (most importantly) why would Stoner accept, anyway?

Cos he is a whining fcuker that does not like media attention but misses the said media attention.

Imagine him in the tin top pit lane.

Mmm why is that guy getting televised doesn't he know I'm Casey Stoner?

Fcuk it who cares!

If it lures him back it can only be good for the racing, Right? ;)

My point is, if he wasn't ready to be lured to wildcard for P.I., then Honda wouldn't have called him to replace an ordinary tester, and he would never have accepted.

Excellent first question and the second question tops the first.

Will be watching to see if anyone can answer those two zingers.

Stoner being Stoner, little whiny cry baby shitting all over another series.

For the sheer entertainment of some I shall try to answer for you J4 ..........

IMO Only ............

There is no doubt that Honda are fishing a little to see if Stoner will bite whilst at the same time they know full well that a rider/racer who knows the bike well will be able to push to levels that a test rider cannot.

I am sure that we all remember 2012 where Honda were riddled with front end chatter issues that test riders could not replicate yet Stoner/Pedrosa were able to produce and replicate it at will (or so it seemed). Of course there is always excessive chat from the riders that they often find issues that test riders cannot or do not.

Of course there must be valid reasons for this and so in this day and age of restricted testing by the riders, why not use the next best thing whilst at the same time baiting the hook in hope?

Honda are very smart, they will have an ulterior motive to all this but can hide it somewhat given the circumstances and rules in place with regards testing.

Probably a number of factors, although ego, opportunity and the fact that he has stated many times that he still enjoyed the bikes just not the circus, so given an opportunity the question is perhaps 'why not'?

Were Stoner retired for three or so years, would the ride raise any questions?

Maybe true Elite, but if you also check the tweets of some (certainly not all) of the other drivers you will find that many are agreeing with CS or at least questioning the overall decision to shorten the race as they are already shorter than last year's.

is there a reason why they cut the race time?

Not sure as coverage in my area for the televising channel is poor but from chatter it seems that TV scheduling may have played a part (they are the support category after all and will likely suffer where needed). The additional whine is aimed at the situation last year where race 3 for Dunlop was 22 laps (14 for races 1 and 2) but this year all are (or were) to be 14 so it is a hefty cut and loss of tv cover etc

EDIT. Race called at cut-off time. Issue and dropping of laps caused by rain delay prior to start of the race.

No tester is going to give the feed back casey is, Honda are launching the prody bike and next years factory racer, why would you not want the views of the fastest rider of the modern era, and they pay very well for the insight Casey will offer, as I said in another thread a friend tested for many years after retirement, I does not mean he will race again. though I would love to be wrong.

He's just deleted the tweet where he calls the series a joke. Smart move by Casey. Can't somebody convince him to stop being a little ..... and ride the Ducati? He clearly isn't made out for racing cars.
