Wayne is right! But thats whats makes that race so special, all the crazy sons of ....... willing to go out and race it. I think he's wrong about guys racing just for the money. I bet if there was no prize money at all people would still be lining up to race at Isle. mind your own business Mr. Gardner

Wayne Gardner is a ...... for demanding such a thing. WTF has i got to do with him ? nobody is forced to race there. They do it because they want to, like he used to race because he wanted to. TEN times TT winner Ian Lougher has slammed former world champion Wayne Gardner for his criticism of the Isle of Man TT.

Following a backlash from the public, ex 500cc motorcycle world-champion Wayne Gardner has defended his call for an immediate ban of the TT.

But Welshman Ian Lougher is unimpressed with the comments published on the Aussie legend's website, waynegardnerapproved.com



Lougher, into his 27th year of TT competition, believes it's personal choice, saying: 'Nobody forces you to race and it's all very well for a millionaire like Wayne Gardner to talk about start money, but he has to remember nobody at the TT crashes as much as he did on the track.



'He has to understand the mental challenge of riding within your limits is the challenge of the TT. Having said that, if you are not careful, the Isle of Man will catch you out.'



The 46-year-old, from Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan, continued: 'Of course it would be hard for family in the event of a fatality.



'Yes, the TT is dangerous, but so is all motorsport, including track racing.



'In the past four years there have been four fatalities at Cadwell Park, and that's at British Superbike level.'



Lougher believes the perception that short circuit racing is safer can give riders a false sense of security.

Personally I have no problems with you bagging Wayne, Chopperman he does tend to polarise ppl with their opinions of him.



From bagging Mick Doohan and his 5 titles and comments made about others.



The only thing that annoys me is you need to say "dumb Aussie ....!".

Personally we live in one of the best (if not best) countries in the world with a population small than a lot of other modern western societies.

And we still produce road races that kick ... at pretty much every level, INCLUDING THE IOM!



I'm pretty sure that Cameron Donald would have brush Wayne's comments aside as publicity seeking banter.



My only issue is your racial views against Australians, why cant he just be "a dumb ...."?
