Looks like the pace was too fast for Lorenzo but Dovi rode an absolute blinder of race and finally hes getting his own back ob Lorenzo from the 250 era when Lorenzo had the top gear and congrats to Colin that was very nice to see him on the podium and what a nice guy he is!!!

lets see Lorenzo from now on because4 this is how the W/c should have looked except stoner should be at least 23 points ahead

Wow. Quiet out there guys...

Urk, woke up just in time to follow the last lap....

What's with P2 to P4 crashing out?

I'm not surprised to see Sasquatch wad it (once AGAIN!) but the two Yammy riders have functional brains and are on one of the better behaved bikes. WTF?

Ride of the day to Stoner, but Edwards deserves the coveted 'Big Uns' award!

Haystack 1 sec / lap faster than Rossi.

(Or did 46 have an off?)

I second that. What a total loon

Are you denying that Ducati are looking a bit .... now? ffs Vale qualified 13th. Out of 15 riders. 15! And a rookie on the most basic spec sat bike was the fastest duc.

It'll take a miracle for them to win a race this year.

At least Casey would wring the neck out of the thing and win a few races.

I've got to say a great ride by Stoner. He really was in a class of his own today.

Not much else to say about today's race. Oh, and great ride by edwards. Was very happy to see him get a podium. Was hoping nicky would catch him but Edwards turned in a lot of great laps towards the end.

What the .... does it have to do with Stoner? Based on what are you making the statements that Stoner was not treated right during his time in Ducati?

The point is the Ducati seemed content on doing ....-all to their bike all year, and going after other riders (Lorenzo, Dani, eventually Vale) all whilst Stoner was riding as fast as possible and winning races.

Maybe if they'd made a bigger effort (like they are doing for Vale now) and shown more appreciation Stoner might have stayed and won more than 1 championship with them. It's obvious now, Stoner was the only reason why Ducati won races in the 800 era.

Anyway, this is way off-topic. Stoner kept his head today, very good ride. Sucks for Jorge. And Vale rode sensibly, he likely knew he couldn't get to the front so made a decision to keep it upright and score some points.

Oh and Edwards is a tough .............

Well... That Simo crashed again wasn't unexpected. Honestly.... I was thinking at the beginning of the race that I wanted to see Lorenzo not crash, as it would be more satisfying to watch Casey claw back the points one race at a time - so I was saddened to see him go down. Apparently nobody captured Spies' fall - so who knows what happened. Hoping he's alright. Brief as it was, twas good to see Dovi riding with so much authority and batting off Simo's attempts to pass. Good on him. As has been already said, high point of the weekend was seeing the Texas Tomato up on the podium. Re: #46.... given the state of his fans, Rossi is probably buying up stock in the Prozac company. Twill be a long season for them. Ewan McGregor was seen schmoozing around in the paddock with a bit of goatee engendering much loose talk of his being perfectly cast to play the lead in bio pic of Stoner's life.

Haha, buying prozac stock would be the smartest thing to do for Val right now
