To be fair, nobody who competes at the world championship level is going to be average. Rossi is hardly the average 40 year old. I've seen women boxers that have as much muscle as any guy in their weight category.

Their skill set isn't average but their physique is, they just work harder at staying fitter than I do. What I meant, and I think we all really understood what one was trying to say, is that a 5'5" man will have in average more power and strength than a 5'5" woman thus the separation of genders in most of the sports.

Driving a car might put both genders on the same level but having to wrestle that bike around is a lot more demanding thus my statement that if anywhere a 'women' only racing series than in bikes rather than cars.

I think you are ascribing to a certain "ideal" of female physique, ie: slender, willowy etc.. but there really isn't any one generic female build any more than there is for men. Potential candidates for being jockeys will be culled from small guys same as with MotoGp riders. There are plenty of women who will fit into that size/weight category. Re: stamina, look at how many marathons have been won by women. And racing cars sure as hell requires just as much stamina as bikes. More importantly IMHO - the prime determining factor in motorcycle racing, is not brawn. It's brain.
