no 2 strokes but i hope there'll be still plenty of smoke.

legendary stories about last year, i hope you guys have some nice stories to tell this year as well. stay off the fatty food and cheap beer though, no need to dance the diarreha cha cha cha.

legendary stories about last year...

Rookies cup will be at Silverstone, they're still on two-smokes.

My prediction: Nicky shocks the world and wins.

Nicky waves at me last year at Shiverstone 2011

Hey Comps, Hector was in the pre-event press conference. His eyelashes looking as pretty as Kim Kardashians. I'm sure you caught a glimpse.

Guess which is which.

i think stoner is in deep trouble. he is constantly hanging off completely in order to let that honda be as straight as possible. it didn't work in le mans, it will not work here

ducatis are not only fast but look real good in the rain.both hayden and rossi have a good chance for a podium here

Only if it keeps raining. What's the forecast for Sunday?

Only if it keeps raining. What's the forecast for Sunday?

I work 15 miles from the circuit - and looking out of the office window I can tell you it's currently dismal. Even so - I'm pissed that I couldn't get the day off today. This time last year when Wills and I arrived it was glorious sunshine - look what happened on race day. The best we can hope for is a full wet race as opposed to those dreadful 'in-between' alternate wet and drying conditions in the absence of an intermediate compound. I still have bad memories of Donington 2009 which was horrendous.

Just read a few weather sites - some say rain, some say cloudy...

Rain or not, I think Jorge will win - he has great form, high confidence, top bike, top motivation.

If Cal aint too sore from that crash, this could be his time on one of the steps. But I think I've been sayin' that every race, I'm sure. Anyway, surely his time is comin'.

Dovi is riding well. I think he doesn't wanna be beaten by Cal - these two are pushing each other hard - great to watch. Maybe another podium.

If it rains, maybe another podium for Vale. I've never been his #1 fan, but I must admit he rode well in Le Mans and regained my respect - I'm sure he'd be thrilled by that

.

To me, Casey hasn't looked the same since his announcement. I think this race will reveal if his heart is still in the fight. At this stage, I would say his focus is on other things - but I'm willing to be proven wrong.

Dani, rode well at Catalunya. Jorge was just too good. If it rains, Dani will slip back.

Ben, get your act together, son! At least he showed some impetus last race, despite falling off. He is tryin, at least. I hope he has a good one on Sunday. The sport needs an American performing well - too many southern Europeans dominating - not good for the sport, IMO.

And Nicky.... I like Nicky. I really do. Pleasant guy, got that cool southern accent happenin' and all. But I would rather see him pushin' that Duke hard, than see his face in the local Jeweler's store window (posing for all those pics surley must be costing him time - no pun intended) selling watches...

Two main predictions:

Firstly, given the conditions I hate to say it, but I seriously doubt whether Cal will be capable of beating Dovi on Sunday - and I really don't want to see him drop it trying.

Secondly - by the time I arrive tomorrow morning Pete will already be several Merrydowns to the better.

Pole: Stoner

1. Stoner

2. Rossi

3. Crutchlow

(Assuming it rains -- and hoping for a more interesting title race).
