I would rather slum it in a tent Philip my dear man, but one of the good old chaps coming with me owns a motorhome sales business and offered this one for the weekend.

I know it's double ' L ' Phillllip but it does annoy you when your forename is incorrectly spelt
 
Because I am nice and because I live in the area where Silverstone gets on my local weather, I am going to tell you what they say it's going to be like this weekend. It should be mostly dry (there could be some rain Friday night though) and it's going to turn slightly cooler than it has been of late. They're suggesting temperatures of about 17-19 during the day. Sunny on Saturday, cloudy on Sunday.


 


I hope that helps with the packing choices :)

I have some experience in this, for years Wilski spelled my name Junkie, until I pointed out its "Jumkie", with a ....... M. To which he pointed out its Willski...with a double L.

Haha u lads gonna have a ...'ol time. Wish I was there to enjoy MurderMac destroy the field (pray for rain gentz). Not that I would have noticed, as quite predictably WE would have been drunk as .....

Have a good time gentz. I will enjoy the weekend vicariously through my great pals.

That's bigger than my old flat! I'll have to camp next year so I don't have to miss practice and quali.

I've just PM'd Willski & LilRedRocket - we're off tomorrow morning, camping at Woodlands and up for a beer in the "pub" or around the campsite. 


 


Will be there with the other half, a couple of mates and their 19yr old son who's passed his bike test this year and this will be his first race meet - should be great!


 


Maybe catch up with some of you for a beer or two.

A few thoughts, I see more 46 flags than I do 35 or 45 flags, WTF.  And...is that a Southern Confederate flag I see?  Hahaha, Pov, are you boycotting in Silverstone too?
 
Just home.


Had a fantastic totally selfish gp for a change.


I couldn't be arsed with the big camera and only took two pic's with the little one.


Got pissed and stoned daily, briefly met Willski last night, (we had different agendas and people with us)


Got toasted friday and saturday.


Froze saturday night and sunday in the grandstand, fcuking wind!!!


Farking awesome racing today, all three races had peeps out of their seats and the noise! Shouting like that has not been heard there in a very long time.


It was awesome.


Major congrats to Scotty he rode a brilliant race tried to break n failed,


Followed Nakagami a while and then re-lit the fuse.
