what are you riding? i love 125s (got one myself) , its proper fun squeezing everything out of them on the road with a mate :)


must be possible to get my hands on a rs 125 or a supermoto style 2-smoke.


if anybody knows where i can rent good bikes for a reasonable price plz let me know

I'm riding a Suzuki GZ125 at the moment, it's amazing on fuel efficiency 85-95mpg depending where I am riding


You cannot ride to Shiverstone on a 2 stroke, I would want to follow you because I love the smell, very evocative of my childhood


I will ask around for advice on renting bikes in London

just looked around a bit..... superbikes/600s only over 25 years of age and not even good 125s?


am i supposed to get a ....... hyosung or vespa?!


hope you guys can help me find something adequate for me to ride to silverstone, i will NOT stay sober to crawl to the british mecca of motorsports on a god damn scooter for christs sake.

Fully fit for the upcoming season now mate. My off season training regime is standing me in good stead.
 
I'm afraid that due to work commitments, we won't be doin motogp at Silva this year. we're planning for wsbk though, and hopefully a trip to the Hill too sometime this year.
 
A wee bit of advice for anyone thinking bout doin silvo with the PS crew this year.


 


You will get wet.


You will get cold. (unless you are Scottish/Orcadian in which case you will enjoy the fine English summer.


You will be kept awake by a) A Scotsman snoring b) A Yorkshireman singing (delete as applicable)


You will drink one of the following: Woods rum, Pussers rum, Scapa whisky, Carlsberg special brew, Merrydoon cider.


You may enjoy a herbal cigarette or a tasty Moroccan confection.


You will get pissed/baked (delete as applicable.)


You will be in the company of a bizarre mix of people who meet once or twice a year.


You will join the PS family proper.


You will meet some of the coolest, genuine people you will come across.


You will have a ....... blast.


You will make friends for life.


You will want to do it again


 And again.


 


And I am seriously pissed off that other commitments mean I won't be at Silvo or Guna this year for motogp!

Cannae do Guna this year mate, gutted! You doin wsbk this year though mate? My day has just gotten even better!
 
I'll check out dates for bsb at the Hill, I could do that on the bike easy enough, overnight boat on Friday, wee run far Aberdeen, and get the tent up. sounds like a plan!

Great news mate! I'm working on Rog an Bonnie too, Knockhill would be a laugh, you English dudes will be like "ok there's the cart track, where's the circuit!" I'll check the dates for BSB.

I am up for it mate. I will break out the monsoon gear
 
I once spent a whole afternoon at the Hill watchin Mackenzie, Whitham, Hizzy etc, sat in the infield wearing my waterproofs and Shoei lid!


 


Had just ridden back from trail riding in Cumbria wi my brother and stopped in for  the Scottish Superprix. 


 


Another time, was camping wi a mate, and on Saturday night the hairpin was under a foot o water! Thankfully the rain stopped an it was a great days racing on Sunday!

Both work for me,


But if your driving you do know me and camera will be hanging out of windows at times.


Especially if I clock a bird of prey ;) Eagle! so wanna see one ;)

Just had a thought!


So I'm gonna have to do :


The Ilkley bit (how many verses lol)


Then pass out!


And snore for the both of us (I have been compared to a warthog) when sleeping.


So yeah!


I can do that ;)


Still gutted we not going to do a gp though!
