Stoner, Dovi, Hayden in WSBK....I can hear Melandri now...Dammit! Marco may relish the challenge being that's he's probably on the best bike in WSBK right now.

Ill bet Stoner will be back sooner than expected... A dude can only stand so much time with his girl no matter how hot she is

The problem is Stoner gets to choose between going on fishing and hunting safari's and eating food or motogp and starving. In each case he still gets to come home to the smoking hot wife.

Thats such a daft analogy

Every man knows that their eye is prone to wander and what ..... really craves is variety.

Doesnt matter how hot she is. ....... the same thing from the age of 22 to 80 will get old.

What a terrible thing to say. Stoner will be fine on safari, plenty of variety. Problem is I see the same old Uccio in the pits year in year out, not much motogp variety going on. Where's your little friend motochick, she'll tell you the real action is going on over in Barbera's pit. Why you think he been tailing Rossi and Lorenzo so much wink wink . Move over Uccio here I cum.

Remember Casey is a fairly simple creature.......

I was thinking WSBK would be a much better fit for Stoner if he ever made a comeback. Reduced schedule, and they dont seem to bother too much with advertising and endless PR over there, just let the action on track do all the work for them. Its still a throwback to the older school of racing, less talk more action.

I agree...plus it is a two race format...so plenty of time to actually dice it out on track.

WSBK is in a very good position to kill moto gp right now. If they manage to get Stoner (2014) and Dovi over there, Nicky would probably feel more comftrable with the idea of racing in WSBK.which seems to be his best and only option at the moment. Only leaving Rossi and Lorenzo to follow suit in order to put the dagger in Dornas heart by 2014. It may seem like a long shot but WSBK is an Italian series and Im sure it might have crossed Valentinos mind once or twice before...

I'm not sure.

Business-wise, the owners of Dorna and WSBK would be shooting themselves in their very expensive foot if they allowed either brand to dominate the other.

Paying half a billion for a business only to .... it up with intra-company rivalry doesn't make the best sense.

You did know that WSBK and Dorna are divisions of the same company, didn't you?

Ive never looked at any statistics, but its easy to assume that Moto Gp dominates WSBK world wide. In the European market they might be a little more even. WSBK has always been looked to as second class when compared to Moto Gp due to the riders on the grid. There are plenty of Moto Gp Gurus on this forum who dont bother paying attention to WSBK. If Casey Dovi and Hayden all end up there in a year or 2, everyone would start paying more attention. The Superbike forum would start getting as many threads as this one. The appeal of Moto Gp for racers used to be the proto type machinery, now that there are only 4 competitive proto type machines on the grid and no hope of more competetive machines coming in the future the appeal is starting to get lost. Dorna is taking steps backwards rather than forward with the CRTs

To my knowledge (which is not much) the only thing WSBK and Moto gp share is the FIM which is the gorverning body for motorcycle racing kind of like FIFA for football (soccer for the yanks). Unless Dorna has a stake or pertnership with "infront"sports that I have not heard about
