I'm starting to feel the same way. I just can't believe that Capi, Marco and Hayden are all that bad. Stoner is super human, we've established that but these other guys are very reasonable riders. Something is seriously wrong at Ducati. If Hayden leaves at the end of the season I can't imagine that there's gonna be guys lining up to climb aboard the Duc. That bike's turning out to be a career killer!

hahaha. told ya so. ducati have put themselven in a ......... everyone now blaming the ducati is a peice of ..... and stoner only having the dencet equipment and engineers and the bike designed only for casey. hahahha.

ducati will lose more credibility than gain by signining hayden. and i am being proove 100% right.

whether it is ducatis fault or haydens fault that the ducati isnt fast, well not sure, but u can be sure they are trying hard as hell to get hayden fast.

but remember a 37year old retired and unfit ex racer is faster than hayden who should be in his prime at 27 years of age.

People always jump to conclusions way to fast. This thread is a perfect example. My question would be as follows: If Nicky had ample time to work on the bike FREE from his injuries would he be in a better position? I have to say yes. Due to the fact that no one does more laps and pushes himself as he does. I believe that if he had his chance to really get down to business he would be ok or at least in a better place. Bad luck is on his side right now. I would expect someone to talk about Dani and his injuries but he knows that bike way better than Hayden knows or understands his right now. So I think after you see a few races go by without him getting wrecked into or trying to recover from painful injuries we can see really where they guy stands on the DUC. WHo knows but I think the Kid is a badass and just needs some room to prove his point a bit.

HAyden just got rammed by some ........ so give it a rest. He needs some time to get healed to focus on the bike better. Everyone else is mostly a rookie on that bike. EVen Sete for the most part but he did actually test the thing to last year. Some people are just ...... dumb.

hmm seems like Hayden struggling with the Duc like Melandri but who knows let's see until Assen i would say.

Ducati curse :S well who know maybe, but Loris actually got 3 podiums in 2007 1 win and mostly finished 6 7 and 8, altough with 4 or 5 rets :S

+1 I'm all for Ducati but this bike is a serious problem.

Times were 2 seconds slower and ducati was the fastest bike back then.

If I remember correctly the old Ducati 990 handled like a farm wagon but it had hellish power. The new carbon frame hasn't helped if in fact Hayden actually has one. Hayden is a guy who needs time to sort out a bike. This bike is a tough nut to crack and Kallio had big problems today. I still hope he can finish top ten in France. Soon we're going to hear that guy swearing like a sailor at that bike. Hayden pissed off...first time for everything.

I think the problem is rossi. The ducati started off looking more generally rideable, but once rossi and jb start to get the yamaha sorted the ducati seems to need to be balanced on a knife-edge to be competitive, and only stoner appears to be able to ride it when the set-up gets extreme.

As I have said before I think it is a real quandary for ducati, as they are unlikely to be able to build a conventional bike as good as the yamaha, and if they did manage this the question is then whether anyone could ride it as well as rossi. They are going to run out of riders for their other bikes fairly soon if current trends continue though. I agree de puniet looks a prospect for the bike, but if he continues his current level of performance he will have plenty of less risky options.
