Iannone is in 4th now, moving Rossi down to 5th.

Edit: moto voodoo said these GP regulars would not be looking to what Stoner was doing. It sure doesn't look that way. Rossi immediately got back on his bike to post a faster time after looking intently at the lap screen. He's gone into 2nd now. Haha

Rossi moved to 2nd. Someone will probably get a sub 2 minute lap soon.

I think he is focused on Lorenzo and Marquez, but I don't think much of these lap times because not much is controlled or regulated during a test. They're all likely holding back not wanting to show their hand.


Edit: Rossi just moved to first.

I'm expecting Marquez to set a blazing lap soon.
 
I think Rossi is much MORE affected by J-Lo and MM for motivation. Being ahead of CS is just a byproduct.

Rossi just went top. Rossi is shitting bricks. When Stoner went second Rossi was down below top ten. Suddenly he's treating it like a Qual session. Stoner is in his head, and he hasn't even committed to race.

So when Lorenzo, Stoner, or Marquez set a fast lap... they're just testing as normal. If Rossi sets a fast lap, it must be because he's scared of Stoner?
 
Rossi and CS rolled outta the pits around the same time... not surprising their times are coincidental and changing. Testing seems to follow the same pattern as race practice for VR as he tests the stuff that the factory wants tested then gradually works towards his optimal set up. I see nothing indicating there is any reacting to CS other than the will to see it. Then again same can b said for my take...

Yes. Because guess what Stoner, Marquez, and Lorenzo have in common? They're all faster than Rossi. Not to mention Rossi has vilified all three. So Rossi has to prove to you (the cult) and himself he is faster, hence why he's treating it as a Qual session. Its pretty obvious. The dude is fragile. Hence his chickenshit meltdown just a couple of months ago. He's the same Rossi today as he was November you know.

It's so satisfying to see him shoot to the top of the time sheets just to see how you (and probably JPS) feel threatened and start hating. Why don't you accuse him of using some secret "extra soft" tire that Michelin must have slipped him to get to first place. You're waiting for a little later?

I wouldn't put it past him to do such a thing. Not that it would bother anyone. Getting special tires has never been a problem. :)


Lorenzo just went top. Rossi wasn't doing .... until Stoner got out there. You should be thankful to Casey. Looks like he's lit a fire under Rossi's ....

I just realized how great it is Stoner isn't going to be involved in the season. Won't have to hear you and JPS claim every single thing Rossi does at each round is in response to Stoner sneezing. Reality is Rossi is focused on his main championship rivals. On this forum now all of a sudden Lorenzo and Marquez don't matter to him, it's just a test rider that Rossi is concerned with. Entertaining.
