I texted two buddies that I was apprehensive about today's test. It just seems every test is ruined with something. It has to be something related to the tire. No way do red flags last this long.

OK, so we've spoken to Michelin. It is still not 100% clear what caused Baz's accident but because there is nothing obvious in the Ducati data regarding the engine, gearbox or suspension, Michelin are withdrawing that particular spec of soft tyre he was using from the test. Baz's tyre will now undergone analysis. The test is now continuing on the harder tyres, with slightly higher tyre pressures to be sure.

I'd like to know how much actual track time they dudes get. Because for a 6 hour day they're getting .... all done.
The most annoying .... is these turds talking while hearing bikes go down the straight. I honestly rather they set up webcams and a timing screen and let it run for the duration. This "coverage" is a total sham. Complete .........

Well, they just spent last hour telling us how demanding Sepang is because they have to stay hydrated, the bikes are hard to ride, and it's hot, bla bla.
Mick, do you know if any public are allowed in?
Incidentally, was that Harryjones05 they were interviewing?

Usually. I remember one time when - for some reason or other they weren't - not 100% sure about this test.
