There is no way valentino's talent suddenly evaporated in the 2 days after the valencia 2010 race. What last year proved is that the ducati 800 was a very unusual bike, and I think it was anomalous that stoner did relatively well on it rather than so much reflecting badly on the other ducati riders. It was definitely not fixable in 80 seconds or a much larger number of seconds though without a major re-design, which (if I say so myself

) is what I was saying this time last year.



If they now have a more conventional bike which fundamentally works I wouldn't necessarily be seeing too much in the way of limitation in the upside, particularly if ducati have done the change (whether or not barry machine inspired) in engine orientation. Rossi and jb are provably good at tweaking aluminium twin spar chassis.

Wait until the Hondas and Yamahas start shaving 1000ths off of last years times and see if the Ducatis are competitive.

I'm hoping - but not holding my breath. I miss the duels between Stoner and Rossi.

It's not that TX has the biggest gay community. It's that the few gays are just (like everything in TX - BIGGER) Besides Baz... Priscilla Queen of the desert was if I'm not mistaken filmed in your backyard - wasn't it?

So what !!??, ...... now you are knocking Priscilla! Is there no depth to which you can sink Kesh.! Its every Aussies right to frock up and tear across a desert somewhere on top of a bus!!

ONS - entailed minor changes on tires whose design parameters - in relationship to the given bike and rider were already well established. Not the same as designing an entirely new hoop from scratch.

+1, also ONS were a few tires you could put in the back of a truck and drive to the circuit, not several 18 wheelers full of tires for an entire field.

So even though ONS did actually once exist, all forms of tinkering and manipulation no longer occur in Motogp?



They even called them 'specials'. There were not enough in supply for Honda to use over the three days, I don't know how many were allocated to Ducati but it seams like something that was rushed. Sound familiar?



I don't understand if the new special tires are the future direction why did they bother bringing the old 2012 spec, and what's the point of trying to develop the bikes around tires which then get replaced, by coincidence, just at the same time someone has a brand new bike design.
