There was some kind of problem with DPs bike yesterday and HRC was going over the bikes today before they let them go out, they might have called it a wrap for today. Glad they're looking for the problem and not letting any riders find out the hard way.

Yes, talk of a red light on dani's dash yesterday. Hard to put any good interpretation on them not running today though, but I guess there is little to be learned if they can't push the bikes for whatever reasons including track conditions.

The rationale for running pre-season testing at sepang is not looking so good this test.

As motomatters noted this is "dry season" in SE Asia. Often no rain from Jan through March other than late afternoon squalls... but nature likes to pitch the odd curveball!!

I'm from Philippines. It rained here last night pretty heavily. Guess the clouds went to Kuala lumpur instead of going upwards towards China or Japan. When will we see the bikes again after this test?

My work is done. The rest of you will spend the rest of your lives explaining why everything is coincidence.

Even when Rossi says the sport has a 19,000rpm rev limit, the same rev limit Yamaha requested in 2008, it's all just a coincidence. My eyes are open. The 800s are gone, the dash is blurred. I really don't care what you guys think. At this point, you have to hope for onscreen rev counters for the factory bikes.

Well this test has been a complete downer. Looks like tomorrows weather is identical to todays. Maybe they can get an couple of hours in.

Apparently DP has also already blown an engine, Honda might have to turn it down a notch. This test does suck, I want to be happy because of the time Nicky put up but it's hard to know if the yam riders were waiting for later in the day to put in the fast laps.
