Rossi - where will he finish in 2011?

Confusing.

Anyway, top 5. (btw, I could swear i saw a thread just like this one somewhere...)

Jumkie - the thread and some of it's replies are very confusing - especially when S-o-D throws in some crap about explaing why VR didn't win in 2011.

Anyway more to the point and more interesting than this thread I see from your tag line that you're wrong about 50% of your time - so right now without being too pedantic that's around 5,000 to 6,000 times. Then you're always right when disagreeing with me and that would be around 400 times - assuming you disagreed to everything I've ever posted. That does mean you've been wrong 12 to 15 times more often than I have. This reply has really got me yawning - nothing personal - just response to crappy staged thread posted by S-o-D. JoNo you only need a brown crayon for replies to this thread.

Son of doohan , you are not a fan of the GOAT , correct me if I'm wrong??

He's had good bikes most of the time as he is the best around, and did you realise he sorted the yamaha out when it was struggling?

Or is it just your not a fan?

And one other thing what made you come up with your username??

Just curious ,not trying to shake you so don't get all worked up.

Maybe let's try again without the aggression

This is of course again very premature pre-Qatar test, obviously some want to continue the GOAT/fan bashing after Sepang, what you lot need to understand is this guy has a record far beyond any current competitor-the same goes for his fanbase, he has proven, many times well against the odds, that he can turn it around on race day. A couple of bad tests doesn't even factor for a rider and team with the Talent, experience and expertise of Rossi. and his crew. I know many here are praying to see him fail to justify their opinions on his success.

Mark my words, VR will be vying for the title by seasons end, I agree with Tom-the problems aren't as big as most here are hoping
<
......also for the simple reasons that others have already pointed out-consistency.

All the top Honda boys will have their respective moments of speed and victory, but ultimately they will trip each other up and especially with Stoner and Pedders, will suffer several offs in key rounds which will ultimately give away their advantage, and if problems with the Honda surface, well we know how well they listen to rider feedback.....

IMO also Jorge will also be right there, the Yamaha will shine again at several tracks and I believe this season could be a repeat of the closeness of 2009 with Stoner and Pedders added to the mix.

consider them marked....

i thought rossi would flounder in the 1st part of the 04 season... he did not. but i think this season is gonna be a bit different... i think he'll defo be in the top 5 or 6. 1st half of the season is gonna be crucial. the sooner they can get the front end gremlins banished the better.

This makes me laugh at the double standards sometimes.

He is responsible for sorting the Yamaha? Not Yamaha themselves or his mechanics?

Now the Ducati is struggling it's Ducati's fault?

Well hello everybody :) loving this forum.Surely there's no wall between nicky and valentino?? I'm shocked if this is so...

If anyone knows more please inform me lol

Cheers people Jono

Well I was generally speaking m8, Im replying to sonOfDoohan .. Of course Rossi didn't do it on his own, but I can guarantee you no other rider of the time could have done it

I'm not sure if there is a physical wall (like they are keeping at Yamaha) but I heard data is being shared, as you would expect in a team with a clear pecking order. Yamaha are sharing data but i wonder if that will change if things get a bit close. I hope not

Well ptk50, at very least you're witty. And I place a high value on wit around here. I thought SOD's threat here is fair, since the pole was only about who will win, but this one is more specifically a prediction of Rossi's season end position. Its just like we always do, get into a bit of banter. But we are reminded, the season hasn't started, so all bets still on the table.

You pretty much know my opinion on most subjects, so even with the thousands of post I admit I got wrong, there's still thousands I stumbled on getting right.

I wouldn't even attempt to go near there Jono, for fear of death!

The snakes up there are massive! I mean I don't mind my deadly snakes to be tiny ..... so you can say "what that little thing !!??", but the snakes up there are as fat as you arm! ( only joking .... at least they are visible
<
, not like the sneaky little toolbox squatters round my way!

)

Bray Park Andy!!! lovely neck of the woods ....... especially the run up the hill to Federal way.

Barry, the roads around here are amazing, every road is mountainous with lots of corners, you never live in fear of wearing the boring strip out down the centre of the tyre, and yes the run to Federal is a great run, did it on Sunday

There's only one corner I don't trust, well one way anyway, big downhill loop to the left and I think I've never seen the surface dry.

I'd put that road up there with the waterfall way Dorrigo to Bellingen or the run up to Gingers from Wauchope, then there's the view ....... I'm planning on dying at Federal

Brother lives up at Macleans Ridges, generations of family came from up there, so I do that run whenever possible.

I've lived in the Kempsey area (that explains a lot), the waterfall is way is one of my favorites as well.

If you're ever down this way I'll take you through Numinbah, Canungra, Mt Tambourine and have a snappy lunch at the Bearded Dragon. Back through Binna Burra (Heaven). Great Part of the world.

Seriously, if you are down this way we'll have a spin. PM me

Where exactly do you live?

I'm in Boonah when I'm there. Currently in the UK contracting. Just got back from a 3 week holiday at home - back to cold and wet Blighty.

The newly redesigned Boonah Beaudesert "autobahn" aint too bad, though speeds are rather higher than they were before Wyaralong covered the old swoopy road.
