Rossi making moves against Jarvis

My Mother was born and raised in Rutherglen and I have family all over Scotland and Newcastle (yes, I am part Geordie). Every time I visit, a trip to London is in order and then the argument as to why nobody wants to go with me..lol. Usually I wind up going alone.

I've been gone so long i wouldn't recognise the place anymore..last time i looked the lord mayor of London was a muslim and they were trying to ban christmas,i think i'll stay in NZ where i can legally own semi automatic weapons and there's not a mosque in sight.

Sounds like you want to make UK great again

I wouldn't miss Christmas, it's an utter .... of a time of year when people are put under immense pressure both at home and at work(especially if you work in the retail and hospitality industry!), people end up financially ruined, alcohol related domestic abuse reaches an all time high, depression reaches a yearly high especially for those who have no family left but it's all bundled up into a sickly impression that it's the most wonderful time of the year and everybody is enjoying themselves. It's a load of ....... ..... which turns usually normal people into childish idiots.

.... Christmas.

I have to admit that I am a Christmas fiend, although it does help having kids. But even prior to that, during times when I have been at my lowest, Christmas has always been a great solace for me.
I get what you're saying though, Ant, for some it does heap on additional pressure or acts as a stark reminder of loneliness, it's just that it has always had the opposite effect for me.
But everyone is different I suppose, that's what makes life so interesting.

I used to love it but the most festive you'll get out of me now is going round to my parents for Christmas dinner.

So who thinks Lin Jarvis should be fired? I do. He's a bumbling incompetent that seems to have no control over his garage or direct line with the factory in Japan.

To be honest, JP, I don't know enough about the minutia of team management to make an informed comment. The win drought suggests sacking him, but if you remove the Marquez factor then they're doing alright. If they don't get a win this season then he should reconsider his position. At this level that's pretty much inexcusable.

I reckon Yamaha were hoping to keep him in place until the could hand the reins over to Rossi however with the discord that seems to be coming out the garage his sacking appears inevitable. Especially if, as was pointed out earlier, Yamaha can convince Suppo to come out retirement. Even with a promise it is short term (2 years) with bumper pay.

When Jarvis let Uccio speak for Yamaha while he hid in the corner like a spineless jellyfish, he should have been sacked. The man has no set of balls.

I had completely forgotten about that and was pretty much just focussing on results. With that in mind then yes you're right, he isn't strong enough for management.

Jarvis was smart, you don’t get between a crazed ..... protecting her man.

I think back to someone like Colin Chapman who was brilliant but mercurial. He would have banned Uccio from that garage permanently...assuming he was ever allowed in to begin with. He took no .... from anyone. Lin Jarvis takes .... from anyone.

Except replacing Jarvis with a Rossi nominee would basically mean going all in with Rossi and Uccio, which seems to be what Yamaha have decided to do. It might be a good move in the long term to do so, once the anomaly that is MM is gone.

Jarvis is a baby sitter/ ego smoother, the big decisions regarding the team are made in Japan. I hope he is pissed enough to write a book once he is thru, that would be some interesting reading. He could call it ‘ Two Diva’s and a Clown’ centering on Rossi, Lorenzo and Edwards.

Yes, NZ is a good place, with a national spirit which seems to have disappeared in most places. Even the politics seem less ideological than elsewhere.
