Sure, that was probably the crux of the whole 2015 thing, that he and/or Uccio believed MM conspired to deprive him of the 10th, perhaps so MM could surpass him more easily, although MM only had 2/4 then. Ironically the whole end of 2015 thing seems to have forged MM into a more relentless and title focused rider who now takes less risks in pursuit of longer term goals.
The other irony is that Rossi never needed the 10th, most including me who are now critics of certain of his aspects wouldn’t have disputed his status in comparison with Ago and the other post Ago greats after his 9th title.
