As around, Mick was a total prick at the track during his time racing and hated near all (Darryl Beattie being a definite exception), but that was just his way.
Now, he is friendlier although he still is not great friends with any against whom he rode.
To be fair, that decision was made for him as his body could only take so much of the punishment he inflicted on it.
Tend to lean that way myself.
Rossi (Team Rossi perhaps) was and remains so focussed on #10 that it is starting to become or seemingly become an unhealthy obsession that is impacting him in so many ways that in years past would have been water off a ducks back to him.
IMO, and I say this as a person who was never a fan of Rossi, but for me, it is a huge shame to see for the sport but for him as I start to get the feeling that it is this obsession that is making his decisions for him, not his body or mind.
So did Doohan. Even his most ardent fans, among whom I likely number, don’t think he should still be the lead HRC rider now though.
