Understandable, that Rea has other commitments would have been interesting to see how he went, Guess Hopper is the closest rider we have left to being a Brit rider for the round.

It's a real shame that KRJR couldn't get moving on that bike. He did so well last year.
 
What shocked me most was Robert Sr saying Jr is "too old".

Would've been better had the Michelins not turned .... when the track began to dry. Kurtis is a real interesting rider, when his head is right he's surprisingly not as slow as we all say. When his head isn't right, he loses jobs and tries to race stock cars somewhere in California.

Your spot on with your assesment of Kurtis, the boy can be magic on two wheels when he wants to be, unfortunately thats not very often.
