Haha, that was witty. Good laff.

I'm gambling that winning the championship has made him stronger and he will come back next year a better rider. Kevin Schwantz said bike racing is 90% between the ears, and I think hes right.
Totally agree.

Hey, add Frosty to the crazy list.

I am making my witchy signs against evil at this!!!!!!!! Rossi will finish. He will. Of course he will. He must. Not only that...he will finish ahead of everybody else. So there! Damn where's my cauldron....newt's eyes..dragon's tongue...toad liver...stir

I say:
Rossi
Pedrosa
Melandri (if Honda get their act together for him. Otherwise one of the ducatis)

Too early to say anything, I'm not convinced of anyone's speed thusfar. The Kawasakis and Suzukis are deceptively quick and the Hondas seems to be deceptively slower than anyone thought. It's anyone's game at this point.

I want to mention Stoner again because i feel like he should definately be up for a podium, but he is getting largely overlooked so far.

Hard to give the guy a look when he crashes 50 percent of the time he's on the bike. Once he learns to control that aspect of his riding he will be a very formidable opponent. Hopefully this weekend is a start in the right direction for him.

I am highly faithful that the move to Ducati and Bridgestone, plus his second approach to a season will have mostly solved this problem. Plus his Qatar form is very good historically speaking.

Yeah, but his casher form is also very good (now even in Dukes) historically speaking.

The difference is this. Last year, he would always lose the front pushing too hard mid race. So far Stoner has fallen of his ducati twice. The first was a small spill, and who isnt gonna have one when adapting to a brand new type of bike. The second was a highside, riding a pile of .... bridgestone qualifying rear tire. So i still remain confident that he wont be riddled with last years problems again.

How much are you willing to bet?

I bet you my dignity that Stoner will finish out of the top 5 this season.
<

probably, afterall he isnt as strong as rossi, hayden or pedrosa. If one other rider, like his team mate or melandri out does him i woll not be surprised. I just dont think he will be crashing like last year all the time.

Everybody was wrong there

lol. Guess we've had a suprise win already - 17 to go!

Prediction points go to tom i think for pointing out Stoner would probably get a podium.

There are quite a few of us predicting stoner on the podium. Most of us, just like Tom, guessed third.
Next race predictions are going to be interesting. I have to look into my crystal ball first but I have a feeling that Stoner will not be on my top three list at that race.

That will have to depend on the qualifying. If he's at the top 3 position (front row), I have a feeling that he'll blast away like he did in Qatar.
