1. Hayden (yes, i know)
2. Rossi
3. Vermuelen
4. Melandri
5. Barros
Vermin for a suprise pole
Whats the controversy? "Yes, you know" what?
Are not your picks as good as anybody elses? Why are you apologizing for it?

Rossi

As much as i would like to see it, i don't epect to see Hayden winning the first race after his pre-season and having two crashes on his last visit to the circuit. I hope he proves me wrong.
I know all this bike changes going on… but there has not been any Kawas or Suzis at the top six positions ever (in Losail) just stats!
I’ll go for:
1. Rossi (has won twice so hope is high, and ’03 started last with Biaggi)
2. Capirossi (Dukes, besides Honda and Yamaha have been up to 3 th)
3. Eduards (has a 2 th in ’04, I maybe wrong cause it’s racing not Q)
4. Hayden (there’s a risk not necessarily to be taken at the start of a season, is there?)
5. Pedrosa (ended up 6th last time almost 11 secs behind)
6. Melandri (likes Losail but struggles with tyres yet)
PD. Better not be ‘Off due to Sandstorm’… Silly Desert!

You've got a point there actually, I was just expecting to get bashed from the Rossi fans (only me and you seem to think Nicky will win the first race).
I'm gambling that winning the championship has made him stronger and he will come back next year a better rider. Kevin Schwantz said bike racing is 90% between the ears, and I think hes right.

I can't imagine a tough winter and two crashes at Watar have done him much good to be honest. He will be there or near enough, but i don't see a win on the cards.
I predict a full on battle between Pedrosa & Rossi in the last few laps. I have serious doubts that the Michelin's on the Yam can last the distance at top pace.
