I havve a question about testing.....How much are the GP guys allowed to test? Are there specific weekends put aside that are for testing? Are the riders only allowed to test a certain number of times a year? I am curious in the testing schedule as there is some discussion on our local board as to whether or not the GP riders have unlimited testing.

hmmm... actually there seems to be several questions here. if i'm not mistaken they can test all they want till dec 1 then the test ban starts & lasts thru jan 20?... i think. then testing continues till the official irta tests which are right before the start of the season. considering the cost, time to travel to the test tracks & other commiments, testing week after week is probably a bit unrealistic. then during the season no testing at any tracks on the gp schedual. testing is allowed on a track after that tracks gp has taken place. as far as only being allowed to test a certain number of times a year, i don't think there is any such rule.
