LOL, I might have to put you on ignore!

Sorry about the downer

. The greatest 4 stroke era season is about to start with lap times that would decimate any 990 so I'm kind of stoked about the present.

I bet that "spot" is run through like an 80 year old hookers make-up bag!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Austin @ Mar 4 2009, 10:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I highly doubt Melandri is on a performance based contract. No professional rider at this level would agree to sign a performance based contract knowing that the bike is a lump and likely won't get much better. My guess is they signed Melandri relatively on the cheap and Melandri gets to prove to everyone he's still got the desire to go fast and hope someone of consequence takes notice and signs him up for next year.
read a little closer there. I knew that no one would agree to a full performance based contract. I said that there are more than likely performance based INCENTIVES. Sorta like having a base salary and then IF you do this you get THIS. If you crash the bike then the guy in the corner over there that is going to Jack you up.

And speedy recovery to Dani!

Damn Jumkie you're slipping. How'd you miss this one.

Migs havn't you spent countless posts on how Nicky wasn't deserving of getting the Repsol ride fresh off an AMA championship. Now you nominate some kid who's run a total of about 4 WSBK races and some other dude who's claim to fame is standing up Biaggi and punting Spies off the track.
So the standard for you in MotoGp is BSB guys who havn't done .... get a ride and American
Champions get nothing.
Just what exactly has BSB produced but a bunch of mid pack supersport riders.

Well said! ....... perhaps I should start sooking for the "good ole days" to come back ( I mean the real ones! too not the "990's"! ...... bring back the honda sixes and MV V8's I say!

800's are looking like a good formula

Certainly produced some of the most momentous occasions, as well as discussion, in the history of MGP. All most as Good as when Suzuki stole MZ's ideas

Thats going to be one hell of a good team ....... a no ........ team if ever I saw one.

I can think of only 1 better option ...... JB joins them and hence gets Stoner like he wanted ....... Unstoppable that would be. The end of terrestrial MGP as we know it

About time he put on some weight...remember when he couldn't even lift his bike on a crash out. My bike is over 400 lbs and I can pick it up...
