I am happy to be wrong In my prediction prediction.

Rossi is the greatest of all time.

You're wrong all the time.:p

Was a great race. Rossi set up for the end and without MM there, it was great strategy. MM will not allow those three to get away next time. I think JL rode the tires off that thing keeping pace early on. He faded badly. I don't know what the .... is going on with Dani. If he can't do better, he needs to move off that bike and let someone else get a shot. Ducati proved a number of things today. They're back for sure.

Thanks Levi ;)
Dovi 1 - Call 0

Dani was a great disappointment he just faded far too fast....

Ducati now has 4 dry podiums over the last 2 years, so they should be losing the extra fuel....is that correct?
Either way, Ducati doesnt need the soft tyre....they should give it up and move to full factory status....

How many years are we going to have to keep saying that? Dani's lost his hole-shot magic and still can't battle. MM was all the way at the back and sliced through like they were made out of butter (if you don't count the damage he did to Bautista) while Pedro just kind of muddled along. Lorenzo was pretty good - but Rossi as usual, wanted it more. It's like he just doesn't care if the bike has a power disadvantage; the guy loves the challenge. A couple years back I was saying he should retire. Hah! So glad he didn't listen to me.

From what Krop has written, they don't need the 24l of fuel. Could easily give that up. Clearly the super soft rubber helps during Quali. I'm not sure what the timeline looks like for wins/podiums in terms of the extra's they have.

3 dry podiums, and yes they lose the fuel. Need 3 dry wins and they lose the tires.

Almost had a heart attack, at end of the race the bottom of my back started to pain a lot, I tought I was having a beginning of heart arrest.

Could not believe Dovi let it scape, no one else in this world deserved this victory so much as Dovi and Ducati. I was so confident for this race. Really sad for him, one could see my eyes reddened in that last lap.

Anyway, Rossi is was a monster in this race.

My Sunday could be more happy if was not a man called Valentino. .... that .....

Thanks. Over 1 or 2 Years?

Basically, it's all podiums/wins since 2014, I think. Concessions all go for 2016, though factories without 3 wins may still keep engine development. That should have been settled this weekend, no doubt there will be a GPC press release on Monday.

Good race by Rossi. Just noting that I have predicted him winning the championship this year!

Dovi was good as was the Ducati. Small speed advantage down the straight but was able to hang with the Yamaha through the corners all race.

Was also impressed with Yonny.

So Ducati lose the fuel advantage, just goes to show its a spanish run thing and they don't like anyone else to win.
Makes me hate the organisers more that does, can't win by ability so lets stuff the rest.

Well done Ducati, and great racing from Vale -- "rule him out at your own peril", indeed.
That hard front tire choice paid handsome dividends in the end. I think Rossi remembered he lost the 4th place to Dovi in 2008 because of a worn out front tire, and didn't want to repeat that mistake.... :)

The way the Ducati overtook the Yamahas in the straight looked like a replay of the famous first win by Stoner at Qatar 2007, when he did exactly the same to Rossi, times and again. This time the finale was different though.

There was a tiny bit of disappointment on Dall'Igna's face at the end of the race, -- he really wanted to win. Patience Gigi, it may not be next time because that will be at Austin where Marquez reigns supreme (and will be super motivated), but it cannot be far.

Oh, and regarding losing the extra fuel or the super soft tire, these two are really negligible advantages for this Ducati. I doubt they use any of the extra fuel, and even without the soft tire they would start regularly from the first two rows, which is what matters. Engine allocation could be more important to them now, for development; but that will not be lost so soon.

Go Ducati! :)
