an edwards type of rider me thinks...... goood team mate but no real threat to their undisputed #1. could move tosland up in that position or even move edwards back up there. all harmony & smiles.

Your paranoid frosty. I don't think rossi see's team mates like lorenzo as a threat, not this late in his career. I think he likes having a team mate who pushes him.

well maybe threat was the wrong word in the sense i meant. he threatens his harmony & comforrt level in the garage... we all know how he likes harmonic vibes. besides if he had edwards back they could take down the wall.

Better put some lotion on those hands or you'll rub your skin off

no need to, I'll be on the same team as the Rossifans, so I'll get pretty good at it, just have to make sure I don't dare moan though

I was reading a very nice quote from gpone today, it is said that perhaps Rossi would prefer Dani in his garage as he is a friend of his and he will be EASIER to beat than Lorenzo...
)
Regarding Lorenzo in the 1 team in Gresini, I don't think that's possible, Honda and Repsol would prefer him in the factory team. Telefonica to sponsor Lorenzo? I heard that many times, but it's hard to say as Honda still under contract with Repsol, and their historic relationship won't end that easily, Red Bull also would like to splash the money around 20 millions Euro to Honda for 2010... but Repsol will be still a main priority to Honda.

Man, Red bull has so much f@#%en money to play with its redicolus, they do all the cool stuff like the air races F1 Moto Gp freestyle MotoX! and i heard Redbull is owned by one very rich Austrian fellow. If anyone is going to replace repsol im pretty sure red bull can do it
As I've said before..... I would like Lorenzo to beat Rossi on the same machine, that way Rossi will have no excuses. How sweet it would be if Lorenzo could win the championship this year then jump ship to a new team the following year. Meaning even if Lorenzo loses out the following year to Rossi... it would be on different equipment, so Rossi won't be able to get his 'revenge'.

Go Jorge !!
it's very possible and good luck to him. Rossi really has nothing to prove to anyone, he's had it all and done it all. i think its pretty amazing he still finds this personal motivation to keep winning this late in his career, truly the goat.
Lorenzo on the other hand has every thing to prove. He is hungry and wants more than a slice of the pie. This motivation , determination and hunger will get him a championship but i think its this that will push and motivate rossi. Let the races begin !

Yes but don't forget, by next year Aoyama and Kiyonari will be unstoppable on a pair of Repsol Hondas, while Nakano will make a lazarus style comeback on a Dorna funded Moriwaki machine engineered by Erv Kanamoto to account for third. Meawhile Tady Okada will start his own satellite honda team with Katsuaki Fujiwara in the saddle, and Toru Okawa will mentor Tommy Koyama in Moto 2. Tetsuya Harada will be tempted out of retirement, as will Nobby Ueda, who realising he is now too old to ride in 125's will orchestrate the return of Uichi Ui for the new Moto 2 class. Oh, and Suzuka will be reinstated on the calendar.

Wait, so what you're saying is if he loses out this year, that YOU will be using the.... "he's already old and past his prime" excuse?
I remember reading somewhere how you said age should not be a factor in how a rider performs?

its rare to find and 8 time's world champion with the motivation to STILL win week in week out. But clearly rossi does. And it riders like stoner and lorenzo that are pushing him.
