Puig: to Dani is not priority to renew with Honda

Well, if in most threads we all end up comparing riders to one another, I made a Result Comparison table for top class, which I hope, tells us with raw numbers riders’ consistence and results. I took into account the top 4 in the Championship with missing out races, if any rider needs to be added I gladly can.

Rider / Races / Wins / Average Wins / Podiums / Average Podiums / Not Started
Lorenzo / 26 / 3 / 11.54% / 13 / 50.00% / 1
Pedrosa / 61 / 7 / 11.48% / 31 / 50.82% / 1
Rossi / 158 / 74 / 46.84% / 122 / 77.22% / 0
Stoner / 61 / 18 / 29.51% / 31 / 50.82% / 1

A part from Rossi, the 3 of them are pretty close in consistency (50-51%) and the 2 Spaniards are pretty close in wins (11.5%).

What got me going were Puig’s latest declarations… “Puig: to Dani is not priority to renew with Honda”…

Would it be Lorenzo and Dovizioso at Honda, and Rossi and Pedrosa at Yamaha?

Don't know if thats it, but something sure is going on, there's been no news / hints as to where some riders are going yet. Thats enough reason to at least speculate.
 
Wasn't Dani just thanking Honda for their loyalty the other day! I guess this means who ever Dani decides to sign with will also get Puig as a package deal. If Lorenzo wasto leave Yamaha it would be a huge mistake and even if he did I don't think Yamaha would want to pickup Dani. I think Dani will stay put at Honda and Lorenzo at Yamaha if not i think Suzuki would be a more realistic home for Dani and Puig. Man that picture in the article is creepy Very Homoerotic!!!!!
 
Without a shadow of a doubt Repsol wants a Spainish rider with a number 1 plate, I think for the time being Lorenzo knows which side his breads buttered, I reckon Dovi is going to be high on their shopping list.

Repsol might disagree with you. It may bring a bit of pressure on both to be the champ. If you can deal with the pressure then you may come out on top as the main man. I for one don't want either of these dudes atop of the podium.... unless they are on a DUcati. LOL

Most likely a whole lot. Especially if the super duper one race winner Puig gets involved. He may throw out his back or something.
 
The real question is, would another manufacture move heaven and earth for peders at pig's demand. Hey V, did you fact this in too?

I just loaded a copy of my file (Excel 2007) to a public folder for anyone to get it:

Problem is, it is half in Spanish and I am kind of lazy to translate all of it with the dynamic tables and field names (messed it up once).

Anyway, it is called ‘Campeonatos Mudiales.xlsx’ (World Championships)

It has two main tabs and four dynamic tables linked that need to be updated every time I insert more data.

- First main tab ‘MotoGP’. In which I insert the race results each time in the form of registries.
- Dynamic tables ‘Equipos’ (Teams), ‘Constructores’ (Constructors), and ‘Clasificación’ (Riders) have to be updated, also make sure the Origin of Data comes from all registries in main tab ‘MotoGP’ after inserting data.

- Second main tab ‘All Winners all Times’. In which I insert winners’ results each time and get them from the Internet link on the top right in the form of registries too.
- Dynamic table ‘Winners all Times’ has to be updated and make sure the Origin of Data comes from all registries in main tab ‘All Winners all Times’ after inserting data also.

If anyone gets in trouble let me know!
 
Jorge to HRC? Well what is the plan then since the Honda is not "the" machine? He should stay at Yamaha. It is a real crap shoot to try to predict what any rider will do on any bike and then have expectations that a championship will be possible the same year. As it stands now I can't believe Dani leaves Honda.

I myself don't believe Dani leaves Honda, but in the other hand, Honda is getting tired, because they go nowhere, when it comes to testing season, Dani was always injured for the last 2 seasons. Their bike is not developed very well as Dani also can't work well with his teammates, he didn't make well with Nicky nor with Dovi, they don't share data and they don't 'help' each other to develop the bike.

Repsol once stated by his Corporate Director, Begona Elices, they will push Honda to be a winning team again and would like to put Lorenzo in.

It is very interesting tough to wait... Personally, I would like to see Dani goes and find another team, 3 years win nothing means disaster for Honda and its sales.
 
jorge will have his own telefonica 1 man team. my guess is gresini will run a split garage with lorenzo on the telefonica bike & simoncelli on the san carlo machine.

Interesting Frosy, could be right. But the Yamaha 2 would be filled by whom?
