True, but if it rains, I think we will see him in better form. (your thoughts)

They say rain is the great equalizer but im not sure that will help nicky. Rain tends to equalize the less powerful bikes with the top factory bikes but power aint nickys problem. I think it will take this season for nicky to get this bike sorted and maybe burst on the seen next season provided he keeps his job.

It will happen!

It ‘did’ happen at Assen Jumkie, problem is, it ‘only’ happened at Assen (other than Laguna) back in Hayden’s Championship year. I am not sure in a ‘kind off Yamaha’ track.

So here goes mine (and yes as usual for me):

1.- Yamaha: Rossi.
2.- Yamaha: Lorenzo.
3.- Yamaha: Eduards.

Oh sorry, that was 2008!

1.- Yamaha: Rossi.
2.- Yamaha: Lorenzo.
3.- Ducati: Hayden (a close ‘Repeat of Assen’ Podium for you Jumkie).
4.- Yamaha: Eduards.

This gives me high hopes for 99 for 9th in ’09! (Hope I don’t need to explain them)…

yeah rain equals the field out.we will have to wait and see it would be good to see him top 6 from the start that would open a few eyes.i wondered for a while if nicky would be allowed on track just for a few laps minus TC etc .just to see if it is actually helping him at all.
when i watched ama he blitzed everyone.

Pinky

Anyone but Rossi
Jorge
Stoner
Pedro

Not 'cause I hate Vale - but because I'd like to see it go
to the last race with three possible champions.

If there is a last lap battle, then I will be satisfied. I don't give a damn who it is or what the weather conditions are. If MGP can grab an ounce of last weeks WSBK show then it would be one hell of a race.
<

Predictions - no last lap battle as everyone (except maybe mid pack) falls in place after 5 laps
<

Sorry to be such a kermudgin but I am dying for some last lap heroics and some hard fought battles. It been too long.

Yeaah..damn right..last week WSBK was awesome..I am dying for that kind of race in MotoGP.
The most I can expect are some midpack overtaking and actions. Hope it will rain and good racing..

Stoner

Pedrosa

Lorenzo

Rossi

I really don't know cause this season is the closeset thing we have had to a race season worth watching. So the winner is known just about halfway through each race but for the most part the first few riders can make position switches. Go Hayden!!! Have a cracker of a race!!!

It is pretty much sure to be a wet cold race. Rain predicted and a high of 13C. The slicks will be freezing if they do have a dry race. No laps records this weekend.

1. Rossi
Won in 05, leading when the engine broke in 06, leading until it rained & they got shuffled in 07, won in 08.

2. Lorenzo, having learned a lesson at Jerez

3. Stoner, solid but never spectacular here...yet.

Probably won't be a popular pick, but I think Pedro will be strong at Le Mans.
Will come down to Rossi, Stoner, Pedro, and Lorenzo.
The order will depend on who gets it right on the day.

I hopy Nicky has a better run, to give him some confidence. I hope he is close to the top of the rest with Dovi, Verm, Cap etc.
Also hope Randy the De Bunny Slayer gets another good run in front of his home crowd. (can't help but support LCR)
