It's gotta be Stoner hasnt it? Coming home as the world champ and all that.

1. Stoner
2. Rossi
3. Vermeulen
<

I think Rossi could win but most likely between those two and throw in hayden and pedrosa around the top but maybe not win

Rossi
Stoner
Hayden
Melandri
Capirossi
West
Vermeulen
DePuniet
Hopkins
Pedrosa

We'll see, weather is always a variable..

Bit too early to call this one...will come back to this with my normal top 15 prediction nearer the time.

All i do know however is that Stoner will dnf as always. The law of averages is gaining weight with every second. Especially with the bumper length seasons. He's bound to have one before the end of the season. Next season that is...

ride on - the ducati domination & with that Stoner's domination is over

Rossi
Pedrosa
Stoner

I would have liked to see Rossi as 2007 WC, but Stoner won & deserves the title. he won by winning not like the world championship of consistent podium places in 2006. roll on 2008 - yamaha needs to get some power. and i'm for everybody on bridgestones - they've pushed michelin out of so much other motorsport - let's just get motogp down to rider+bike

Depends on Michelin and Yamaha realy. If Rossi has a competitive bike, he can win.
I wish a dry race with Rossi on a really competitive bike, starting from 15th position.
Or a wet race with Vermeulen starting from 15th pos
We need races like this after the mid season yawn.
Stoner ofcourse is capable of winning in any case (who would'nt be riding this years Ducati?)

Dry:

1. Hayden/Stoner (nothing to lose)
2. Hopkins
3. Rossi
4. Guintoli

Wet:

1/ Hayden/Australian (nothing to lose)
2. Rossi
3. Hopkins
4. Guintoli

Michelin Race:

1. Hayden (nothing to lose)
2. Rossi
3. Stoner
4. Guintoli

Bridgestone Race:

1. Hayden/Rossi (nothing to lose)
2. Stoner
3. Hopkins
4. Guintoli

Rossi
Stoner
Melandri
Pedrosa
Capirossi

The Ducati will be fast as hell on the straight and as a result, Stoner will be very close to Rossi, that is if Yamaha and Michelin haven't been sitting on their ...... Melandri will surely be in the top 5 because he is really good on this track. Pedrosa as usual will be there too. Nevertheless i see Capirossi with a good chance here, knowing that he will be in a good mood.

1. RdP, because he just got 2nd and is riding on a high
2. Checa, because he will be moving on soon
3. Edwards, because he is going to wake up and just know its his day

Kidding, probably the following:

Stones
Rossi
Pedro
Haydenski
Verms

I'm going to be a fan and say that Nicky will win. He seems to like Philip Island and he has got to be hungry as hell. The Kentucky Kid has had some good test sessions of late, so let's see him win one.

1. Hayden
2. Pedrosa
3. Vermuelen

Actually, out of the remaining races, Valencia is probably Nicky's best bet for a win. However, I'm gonna lay it on the line and predict him as the winner at The Island.

melandri
stoner
the yamaha fight back has already started

Rossi will win if conditions are fine and michelin have a competitive tyre. He knows some sneaky moves on this track

Ok I have decided to go with this method of prediction .... I checked to see what the swell was doing as regards your prediction....

And from my readings on the Philip Island swell:

three big, smooth, well spaced, predictable swells were coming ( this means the usual suspects were the go )

So.

Stoner
Rossi
Pedrosa

But then to my shock ...

all three of them crashed in a heap before they got to the beach
<

bad voodoo... bad voodoo ... I'm not using that method anymore

My predictions for Phillip Island:

1. I will get very drunk.
2. I will enjoy the eye-candy on offer at this fabulous event.
3. I will be slapped by Mrs Firetrap for enjoying the eye-candy.
4. I will celebrate Australia's latest world champion.

I shall then do it all over again the next weekend at Sepang!

Oh, and Rossi will do well here. He likes the Island. Stoner has no advantage here as he left the country at a very early age to race overseas. Vermuelen and West have better track knowledge than Casey.
Expect CV to be up the pointy end.

Stoners record at Philip Island is not that crash hot, in the 125’s in 2004 he came 3rd, in 2005 in the 250’s he crashed and dnf, in 2006 on the LCR motoGP he came 6th, so if he is to win he has to pull out all the stops especially when the WC’p is all over now and it’s his and from now on Casey and Ducati have to really go for wins there are no more excuses not to win like they have been, Casey from now on and for the rest of the gp’s is going to ride the hell out of that Duke to show all his fans what he’s really made of!!!

1. Stoner by a mile
<
& 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9... can please themselves!!!
