  1. []Hopkins[]Stoner[]Rossi
How's about that for shaking things up. Hoppers takes his first win!!

Rossi
Stoner
Melandri

Should be close, but i think Rossi will be damn hungry and have the bit between the teeth so to speak..

Hopkins will never win on the suzuki!

Ivan Silva (Dantin Formula Xtreme rider) will replace the injured Alex Hoffman for Brno, not the widely rumoured Chaz Davies.. Shame that the man with the right sponsor gets the go ahead..

motogp.com says Davies was 'overlooked' but is in market of many teams for the 08 season as a result of his strong Laguna performance.. If Davies gets backing from Dorna, we could see him as a permanant appearance in 08, Id like to see him get a go, but not at the expense of Ant
<

Peace!

Ivan Silva? Why?! He was useless last year when he replaced Hoffer, especially compared to how impressive Chaz was on his debut last month.

Because he rides for D'antins team in the Spanish Formula Xtreme Championship? that and he's Spanish, like D'antin and his sponsors... Oh and he's listed as the official replacement rider too.. Maybe Chaz couldnt? Although, gp.com did say CD was 'overlooked' .. Darned politics..

A quote from Davies:-

“To be honest it seemed a dead cert when I left Laguna but I guess things have changed and that’s fair enough. But it would have been good because I like Brno and I would have had the experience of riding the bike in Laguna.

“I’m sure the bike would be good at a fast track like Brno where there’s no real tight stuff and you could have really used the power of the GP7.

“My team in America was fantastic about it and they told me they would not stand in my way if I got another opportunity so I’m grateful to them for that.

“I’ve had a taste of riding an 800 in Laguna and I was looking forward to having another go in Brno, but hopefully it won’t be the last chance I get to ride in MotoGP.”

Sounds pretty gutted, as he would be.. Ah well, if he's supposed to be there, he'll get there one way or another!

bloody politics

silva only came in 18th last year and the hoff on a factory gp6 only came in 16th.

would have loved to see chaz again nowhe has riden the gp7 , on a faster track which suits the duc better.

i know this sounds bad but i hopethe hoff dosent recover too quickly and chaz gets another chance.

only joking , get well soon hoff

Rossi takes pole, but is a DNS when the Italian tax authorities repossess his bike on the grid seconds before the red lights go out....

In a wet race it has to be Vermeulen. There are no wet riders as good as Vermeulen in MotoGP at the moment.

East is better in the real wet stuff I reckon!!
<
may have the edge in not really wet/changing conditions.

So my predictions.

CARDION AB GRAND PRIX CESKE REPUBLIKY
1 Dani PEDROSA

2 Marco MELANDRI

3 Valentino ROSSI

4 Nicky HAYDEN

5 John HOPKINS

6 Chris VERMEULEN

7 Anthony WEST (Winner if wet)

8 Toni ELIAS

9 Colin EDWARDS

10 Loris CAPIROSSI

11 Alex BARROS

12 Carlos CHECA

13 Sylvain GUINTOLI

14 Shinya NAKANO

15 Makoto TAMADA

In the wet but drying conditions my money's on Casey, if its regualr wet i'd say CV had it covered, but when its super wet then West is the man.

But i hope its dry so Pedrosa/Honda/Michelin can make a point.
