Nicky is so eloquent!

In the past I used to wonder why Rossi spoke better English than Hayden, but recently it sounds like Nicky is speaking the queen's English! Is Nicky seeing a speech coach and rehearsing before he meets with the media? He seems a lot less nervous and he has a bit of a swagger in interviews now. I guess a big part of that might have to do with Pedrosa in his rear view?

I've only heard "ya know" and "uhhhhh" about 3 times per interview.

That's remarkable progress!

Rossi speaks better English than Hayden? Thats a joke if I've ever heard one.

I tutor first year Japanese college students who speak better English than Rossi.

It seems to be a world championship battle thing - have you noticed how many times Stoner says "ya know"??!!!

Yes totally agree Pirkkalan about Stoners...the "ya know"!!! Someone should tell him or coach him on the proper way(s) to put a sentence together and the ..."ya know's" should be taken out of his vocabulary all together!!!...as most of the time "we don't know"...but this is a way that allot of Aussies speak and they substetute the old "ya know" for everything!!!

Well Nicky is just a good 'ol boy from the nothing lands of Kentucky...I imagine that since he won the world championship they have been a little on him to ditch the slang and speak so people can understand him...

I still think he sounds like a wannabe rapper hick boy who happens to be a talented rider.

I knew someone from Oz would get a kick out of that.

If any thing Nicky is a bro. Of course, Hopper would kill me for saying that cause Nicky wouldn't last a second in the I.E. but he is the Appalachian version of a bro.

I.E. is inland empire--the hot interior part of SoCal. It is the Californian cultural antithesis of the rich ....... in the O.C. The inland empire is the last bastion of the Californian wild west. It is popluated by millions of dirtbiking 20 and 30 somethings who live off of sponsorships from sunglasses and energy drink manufacturers. The average I.E. resident spends approximately 4 months out of every year in the tatoo parlor or in reconstructive surgery.

I don't know about his English, because mine is pretty poor, but sometimes his voice somehow vibrates and he sounds like goat
