It seemed like Nicky let loose a little more then usual. Taking a dig at the Honda guys. Hahaha

I wonder how Talpas gonna spin this. According to Talps Ducati hasnt made any changes for Rossi
 
Way to diplomatic as usual. I honestly would have loved to see Cal get signed next to Nicky on Duc for sooo many reasons....



That dig at Honda riders sondes more aimed at Pedro. Anyway, as ive said before, Duc tried everything to get Rossi to produce results, he just failed. Sounds also like Duc went backwards after signing VR as Nicky says he was starting to get on with the Duc. Oh, yeah, as far as radical changes, he pretty much lays that to rest by saying "marketing went out the window" to show how they had changed their entire DNA for None other and exclusively for Rossi! But ...., the way people interpret plain as day quotes around here and turn them into revisions and denials (see the new crop of Ezy "VR will be on competitive bike"); im sure at some point they will say he meant Ducati is now selling windows.



Nicky is way too kind on VRs efforts, at very least he said he matched him. Which ive been saying for years, they are about equal on talent but opposites on influence, which has made ALL the difference in their careers. Though that too has been denied or unnoticed across the bulk of GP: spectical wearing spectators, casual fans, gutless media, head up VRs ... teams, and corrupt league officials.

In regards to changing DNA, no one seemed to mind when they changed from a trellis frame to the carbon jobbie did they? How long had duke been using trellis for?



In regards to limos, seems Nicky is on cals .... list.....

Would have been a better read with the actual questions included, it seems kind of disjointed as it is.
 
I like Nicky, but having watched WSBK Silverstone race 1 last night with dad, how can the series not excite him?
 
so if he dont get a decent motogp ride that will be rideable hes not interested

What Knockdown is referring to is Cal's recent comments expressing a bit of contempt in contrast to his own situation vs the prima donas of the sport, regarding some riders making 40x his own wage and riding around in "limos." In this article, Nicky puts his job into perspective against all those others with way worse situations, like his cousins "working 10 hour days" in the fields, while he is getting picked up in a "limo" at the airport. Basically saying, he is aware that he is paid to race motorcycles and is grateful for it and isn't about to whine about it.

But yeah, totally agree with Nickys sense of perspective.
 
As ever, Nicky comes over as a thoroughly decent guy here. Still pretty grounded.
 
Who the eff is this guy named Cal Crutches anyways? Someone with a low pedigree such as he, shouldn't open his mouth the way he does....... especially when it comes to demanding higher wages and comparing them to the 'super stars' of the sport. It just makes him look like a silly whiner.

Actually in all seriousness, that's probably not a bad career move - particularly when you're riding for Honda.
