word is that nick will race supermoto in X-games which begins tomorrow.
with his dirt track background, He should do well, and it'll be very entertaining I think
you guys hear this?
It also tells me that he's gone for sure from HRC (as we suspected) if they'd allow him to race in this event

I read the same thing on Soup. Sounds cool! I hope he rips up and wins it.

I'm not sure it says anything about Honda though, as I'm sure Ducati wouldn't want him to be racing in it either!

Not sure if he got special permission or if something strange really is up for next season (WSBK, etc.)

Nick's Honda contract is just about over so it doesn't matter what happens now?

Get it out of his system before he rides a Ducati?

Honda have never allowed him to ride in the event previously, despite being on the invited list repeatedly. I would assume this is Nicky's version of throwing a tantrum and signals his exit. I'd love to see him tear apart the Supermoto regulars and think it should be within the realm of reason. Anyone seen this year's invite list for the event?

Agreed...giving Fillmore the edge.

Nick is pretty damn good on those bike, just ask Biaggi when they went head to head a couple years ago, and Biaggi is no slouch.

nice way to treat the rider who one you the last championship you had
typical of HRC! Honda doesnt have the manpower.....RIGHT!

Its free admission today and tomorrow. I'll be there tomorrow hoping Nicky makes it. He's on the invite list, but that doesn't mean he'll show up. If he does, I'll get some pics.

Of course, Travis should be there too. Damn, my two racing heroes at one event, I'm gonna explode!

(Side Note: Hey Rog, the bikenight we went to was in the city of Carson, 5 minutes away from the Home Depot Center where they have the X-Games--MotoX, SuperMoto, & Rally Car. You should have stayed another 2 weeks. You could have got an earthquake and X-Games to boot).

That is amazing. Ben Bostrom won in 2005, and has wanted to go back. Great to see another top rider back in the X-Games.
