No, but I did see him at Laguna.
Ernesto was a great talent who's career was cut short, we missed out. But he seems to be doing much better. He looked in high spirits if you see a few clips of him, Speed made a point to show a clip of him in the suite hanging out with the celebs.

Great shots Jumkie, gotta love a guy who gets behind the scenes for his forum.
On another note, after seeing the race, I see why Nick pulled out, geez that track was not a typical SuperMoto track with the dirt section being very technical and the road section very tight with no room for error. Good to see Jeff Ward get the win and another gold. I met Jeff in Axton, Virginia when they still had a National there and to see him ride a 500cc two stroke was unbelievable for a guy his size.

Yeah, I thought it was in terrible condition also, they should have put more thought into how to get it watered than they did.
Jeff IS about the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet, just to show up and attempt to ride, given what he's going through with the cancer is amazing. Only a guy like that could pull it off.

Here's another reason this forum is great.
Crash seems to have spent a lot of his time lately in the hospital and on the couch.
I would bet that his mom, dad, brother, sister/girlfriend ( remember he is from Texas
fellow employees, lady at the supermarket etc are telling him that he shouldn't be riding motorcycles because they're going to get him killed. I'm sure he's getting no support whatsoever from everyone around him.
Right now the only people that understand him are us here.
Get Well Soon Curvey and keep on riding.
