All Spanish front row. Get used to it because next year will be all Spanish front row and all Spanish podium week in week out with the odd Italian thrown in just to mix it up a bit.

When Rossi said he was really going to try this weekend I thought he meant he was going to really put in an effort. Silly me. He actually meant he was really going to try to make the CRT's look good so his manager, Ezy doesn't look so bad. Never knew that Rossi was so unselfish making himself look bad so others can shine.

so we got a #1 Rider in a Factory team
that's had his ... beat for the best part of 2 seasons by the teams #2 Rider in the Factory team
Thats getting beat by the sat spec team / rider
That struggles to beat the sat team in a race
this is motogp
how many FACTORY teams would keep that rider ? = 0
And how many OTHER Factory teams would offer that rider there Factory bike ? = 0

a decision needs to be made asap Dude

Duc have burnt there bridges too they looked no further than Vale
who they got tied up coming through to bring them race wins / championships ? = 0 No one

Two Ducatis qualified in front of Stoner.... I think it's the first time.
Had it been Rossi qualifying 3rd, everybody would be speaking of Ducati's resurgence. But no, the fastest Ducati is still the old model (it has an aluminium frame, but the weight distribution is the same as it was on the GP11; they could replace the aluminium with the old CF parts and the bike would basically remain the same.

Didn't see the session but the grid positions and times would seem to support jumkie's contention that lorenzo's success this season is substantially due to lorenzo rather than the yamaha.

German youths that I recall all have spoken pretty damned good English as it was/is a required course in high school.
Bautista for all his clownishness did in fact pull off several of the fastest laps of quali - without benefit of a tow.

I know this forum rarely pays any attention to the arse end of the grid but what the heck is up with Petrucci's top speed? 303.3km/h! A stock 1000cc roadbike can do that! It's also only 13km/h faster than Marquez's moto2 top speed.

In a race chasis with a race fairing I still would have expected more than 315km/h at a track like Mugello. If that is the future of motogp then you can keep it

For all the .... HB takes, a podium would be awesome, even more so if he's 1st Duc, and even better if he beats a couple of Sat Yamaha's!

The best CRT of today (Espargaro) would have qualified 6th in 2006 among the 990s, between Nakano and Melandri on Hondas.
Rossi was faster than today in QP at Mugello in the year 2008: 1:48:1. That same time would have given him the 9th position this year, however; not much difference.
This year it is the first time that they lap below 1:48 at Mugello: the closest was last year's pole by Stoner, 1:48:03.
Last year's pole would have put Stoner only in 9th position this year.
