Lap times are still high.

Today's best by Rossi was 1'49"751.

In 2009 Lorenzo wasn't that far on Friday (1'49.870), before setting the pole with in 1'48"987.

So this is just warmup... Let's wait tomorrow for the real fast laps.

You know its not so much the haircut itself that gets me. Its that it is sooo badly cut. It's the same haircut Nicky has had for almost a year now.

I hope Casey and the team find the fix with the old forks tomorrow.

And use brakes that work.

By the way Vale didn't seem that injured when doing wheelies after the practice.Or perhaps that is calculated too.

Anyway,i think Vale and the 80's gay hair is going to be very fast on Sunday.It's Mugello.

Nicky needs to show Vale how to rock the fauxhawk or the brohawk or any other name for the kitsch usage of an otherwise badass haircut. I will rescind all of my remarks if Rossi rocks war paint on Sunday.

It was even more nothing than that. Ducati claimed the only reason he went off is because he had a tank slapper in Biondetti but he saved it only find out out that the violent oscillations had messed up the clearance between the pads and the discs. He hit his braking marker but a pulling the lever all the way to the stop generated little stopping power. Dangerous situation, but apparently it was completely a manufacturing or installation error.



Apparently, he's testing last years Ohlins with the 2010 chassis b/c Ducati think the new forks may not flex enough for Stoner's style. Something about testing new triple trees as well to tune the flex. I count at least 3 riders who don't like the new Ohlins spec. RDP never liked it. Melandri has gone back to Showa. Stoner is back on 2009 spec. Interesting. I wonder if anyone else will change.
 
At the Begining of season Spies was doing good, and everyone was JUMPING ON HIS BAND WAGON, Talking Spies will be on podium, spies will win at least one race, etc etc...But when Spies has crashed and hurt himself somewhat and hasn't qualified so well once or twice suddenly no one not only is not talking about him anymore, they are not even including him in predictions. Where are all the Spies fans suddenly when the going got tough? No worries Benny boy I believe in you even when no one else does and Well AFTER THE BAND WAGON is just a memory. that you will kick ... soon I predict SPIES top 6 maybe even top 5 in Mugello. If he knows the circuit, maybe better. Putting Rossi, JL the peasant, Stoner, Pedrosa on top in no particular order is NO PREDICTION. IT IS A GIVEN.
