Amongst other things - yes Barry you did...many times.

Dang!! I was hoping to keep topping up my "Arab can't believe folk do this" list!!

Canoeing ...... how about that? have I mentioned that?
<
<

I'd be intrigued to know when was the last time you went skiing in Australia though. I guess Perisher isn't too much of a undertaking from where you are.

Perisher was my skiiing place of choice ..... good internet surfing to find this!!

Last time I skied was about say 15 years ago ......

Gotta admit I was thinking of going down there again soon, but I have this subconscious feeling that I could well shatter these days
<

<
The Cornish and Welsh surfers I know are constantly looking at off shore and onshore forecasts since swell is governed primarily by wind and thus the interaction of pressure gradients/systems. The majority of surfing in the UK takes place over the internet by the XBox Generation I'm afraid to say.

Cornish you say!! ..... I have a Cornish surfboard! ....... shaped by Peter Cornish it says!
<
<

Here you go found a picky, the big white one is my "Cornish Surfboard"

It's more a 'forum doesn't believe Barry does this' list.

There is however one activity in particular that you mentioned that everyone gives you due recognition for.

Which indicates the mentality of "the forum"/"the gang"/"the guys"/"the in crowd" ........ when I tell you the truth however mundane it is ....... you think its too amazing to believe. When i decide to make the most far from the truth comment ....... you ......s take it as Gospel.
<
<
<
Well maybe not gospel, but you do decide its worth some kiddy prattle and entertain yourselves for months with it
<
<
<

One thing is clear ....... you guys have the very general "no ....... idea"
<

Bloviate !

In the manner of a blue whale Reg.!
<
<
<

The thing is ........ you guys are doing all the work for me.

I say something paltry and mundane ..... and you think its amazing!!
<
<

Its more like you bar/couch hounds are giving me a "bloviate job"
<
<
<

Here's another one for you, probably knock your socks off ......

I walked down the street!!
<
<
<

.... me are you on the piss Arab.
<
<
<
Thats pretty lame ....... would have thought it was blatantly obvious I was playing on that that saying.
<

Are you ever not a pisshead
<
<
<

What saying? - I have no idea what you could have possibly been alluding to

Meh, you two are "non-compus" ........ you're beginning to belittle my bloviation.

Anybody can whoop a pisshead.
<
<

Actually whilst I seem to have you hanging off my every word........ I'm watching the Olympics ..... the swimming to be precise ........

Given that pool is likely filled from English town water ........ are they actually swimming in Piss!!??
<
<
<

Or even worse ........ will you be drinking their piss tomorrow!!!??
<

No need - They sell something similar in my local 'Walkabout'

Says it all really.

Believe me, the water is the least of our problems in the U.K.

Actually this is an interesting read about the quality of your water - seems that Sydney suffered a similar contamination issue to the cryptosporidium outbreak in London 1997.

This is perhaps more of a worrying bedtime read

Not quite the pristine picture you painted of your Island Continent sorry, Island.

G'night Berry.

G'night Berry.

Water treatment plants can significantly reduce the number of water-borne organisms in

drinking water. After initial fine screening water will still contain suspended solids, each

particle of which has a negative charge. As like charges repel, the suspended solids tend not

to aggregate together and settle out of the water column. Standard practice in a treatment

plant is to add a coagulant and flocculant (such as ferric salts), which helps bind particulate

matter together

ummm sounds nice

Hey I filter my water.

Just so long as

The queen

George Michaels

The England football team

Susan Boyle

Prince Charles

Rog..

Arab.

Jack the Ripper

etc.

have not pissed in the water ....... I can put up with our feral water.

Even though I'm not in a major town or city and predominantly get my drinking water from spring or rainfall.

PS. My favourite beer is a german beer called Erdinger Wiesbeer. It has a sediment, I was thinking it was part of the process of the beer ........ now I'm thinking its bits of human waste!!!! Noooooooo! not my favourite beer!

Oh well a bit of .... at times could be ok .....

Clutching at bopper straws much there ......

I did say "could" ......

remembering that as Reg. says the pomms are drinking .... constantly.

Which is always preferable to spouting .... constantly, or to this...

Since we've already discussed the effluent contaminating your water too (which we can return to if you wish), whilst on the subject of your 'ale', it seems most of the beer consumed by your island continent (sorry, Island) is brewed abroad...including the U.K.

I also recently spotted this item of great interest which explains much..
