So once again the Hondas will have to compromise their set up to be quick.
Not necessarily. The tires are designed for a hot track, and temperatures are set to be hot in Barcelona. At Mugello, the hot weather never materialized, and so the tires were never in the middle of their operating range. Bad for Honda, good for Yamaha. Hotter temperatures at Barcelona means they will be better for Honda.

Weather looks good, Lyria. Nice and sunny and warm, although perhaps not as hot as Honda might hope for?

Krop, what's the Magic Temperature?

Doubt this will be a Marquez festival, it's Lorenzoland. Only a few more days and we get to see the magical black mamba celebration by Lorenzo.

If anyone is at Catalyunya this weekend, please invade the track and pull Lorenzo off his bike if he starts doing the Black Mamba celebration again.

Then pickup the M1 and do a ....... burnout. I miss them...

They wouldn't get near him, he strikes in under 100 milliseconds.

Rossi leads a FP session for the first time this year. Does not have Lorenzo's pace however.

Did you see the smiles in Cal's garage light up when he went 5th without using a soft rear? Very good race pace already.

Qualifying well at Catalunya is absolutely crucial. Valentino needs a good grid position tomorrow. Can't see him out qualifying Pedrosa or Lorenzo. Hard to know whether the Honda's are going to work this weekend having never found the optimum set up at Mugello.

Marquez can always steal Dani's settings again  ...just as Nicky supposedly used to do!

No she's not, an eye roll maybe but hey, this is about what I expect by now. I just read the other thread where Willski's ... is the main topic of conversation, this is tame compared to that!! Not to mention the ..... thread in the lounge area. I'm saying nothing about it I tell you, nothing!!

So as an F1 race this cirtcuit tends to be boring, I am assuming it's not for us, right?  I hope not anyway.  Will Marquez have got over his mistakes last time and still go for it, or will we see a new, more cautious Marc?

Last I heard the weather wasn't so good in Spain right now, I hope it's better by the weekend.

And what a perfect ... it is

It's like Sooty has fallen of his hand and he hasn't noticed.

Dani is on it.

What's with Farquez's lid? No ant motif?

Top work Cal.

Top work Jorge on his second bike.

Dani breaks Stoner's track record which was set on qualifiers.

Can anyone tell me who were the commentators on the official MotoGP broadcast?

There was a new commentator that I haven't heard before.

His pronunciation of some of the names was terrible
