This race would of been way better if Yamaha got their .... together and gave Rossi a proper bike which spewed yellow smoke instead of blue after grenading.

I bet they got the engines messed up. That was supposed to be Jorges #2 so he can outdo the year of the spies.

Sorry to upset you by pointing that out.

It's not anything specific that you said. It's that you continue to spout pointless drivel that you think is clever and only detracts from the conversation, what you Brits call "Prattle". In ten years on this forum I've never asked anyone to STFU. For the love of God, try to engage your brain before typing. Ask yourself, Is this actually relevant or interesting, or am I just austistically pecking at the keyboard in zombie-like fashion? I don't agree with much of what you say - but defend your right to say it. Occasionally you actually get in a good zinger. But you don't have to constantly be commenting on everything that is said. Remember, quality over quantity. You don't get brownie points for the most posts.

#EngineGate

Lorenzo tinkering with Vale's Motor so he could get a win like that

Fair enough, you may find it drivel, some of it is no doubt, most of what I write is just my opinions nothing more. I will post stuff to wind people up, only because I can't stand their attitude. For a forum of Moto GP fans it's probably quite normal. I'd rather post on here than a yellow tinted forum though. I like Rossi but some of his fans beggar belief.

Understand, I'm not out to get you. Just making suggestions. I'm frequently diametrically (if not violently) opposed to some of the stuff that Jum and JP post but the thing is, they give thought to what they post, and regardless of how true or not true the posts are, they're talking from conviction which makes things interesting, as opposed to just typing for the sake of typing.

Talking from conviction is ok but when it drifts into eternal essays about far fetched theories I must say I switch off and just post a retort however banal, just to let them know I don't agree . Anyway we end up going round in circles, my version of the truth v theirs , which detracts from the racing, which today was fantastic.

Even a bopper such as myself has to admit that was an outstanding last lap battle. My only disappointment is the notion of what the last battle could have been is there were three bikes involved.

I'm also looking forward to the conspiracy theorists and what they will say about this double engine failure situation.

Anyone have any insight on what may have caused these similar failures?

Yeah so back to the race.
That last lap.

Marquez especially that final move he put on Lorenzo, massive tank slapper out of the second to last corner and getting the bike way crossed up while tipping it in around the outside of Lorenzo was awe inspiring to watch.
It looked like they had a similar corner exit speed wise so I'm surprised Lorenzo had the traction and grunt to just make it past.

Brilliant by both parties.
It looked like Marquez was pushing the limits of that Honda more than Lorenzo the Yamaha, but its hard to say as JL has such a smooth style anyway.

Shame that Rossi's engine gave up in what was his most competitive Mugello in years, hopefully this means we won't have to hear any conspiracy theories about Lorenzo's engine blowing up in free practice.

I also have to credit Lorenzo for a MONSTER start off the line. 5th to first???? Who does that??? ....... lol...
