who's are good - who's aren't ?

goggles or visor

or bollocks the whole thing and keep my usual AGV full face helmet ?
<

i have the agv ax6 with goggles very comfortable but at speeds over 80/90mph my eyes would water up very bad and i had to really strain my eyes to focus my vision so i went back to using my agv full face road helmet

HMM. i wondered about that. I quite like the ones they used on "Long Way Down ?"

thats the arai x tour series

a friend got the x2 the other day.. i think is the same as the one you have pictured.. he says its very good and comfortable but when its raining the visor can mist up easily

stick with your full-face AGV for winter....

and then look at something like the Arai in spring....
an MX helmet tends to let more of a breeze in than a full face and it can get "chilly"

Cheap helmet, cheap noggin?

if I were getting a dirt helmet right now, I would buy the Suomy "White Star".

Suomy is good stuff and the helmet is ridiculously good looking imo.

I wear a Nolan, same idea as the tour x style with a visor and a peak. The visor goes up below the peak Rog so no worries there.

Its time to replace the Nolan tho, it's getting on a bit so I'm wanting to try either the HJC or Marushin, both of them do a helmet with a visor and a peak. I find it a great compromise, I have the visor for the road, with the option of taking it off and using goggles off road.

Didn't realise the visor came off for goggles - is that the case with all of this type of hemlet Pete ?

You got any links to the ones you were looking at please ?

Thing is - i really neeed to try them on cos i've got a odd shaped nut I think and some helmets really hurt. AGV seem to be fine but I can't get a Shark helmet that doesn't hurt...........

i do like that - a lot - but I fancy one with a visor. that's a lot of $$ for a moto-x helmet too.
